I had a frustrating experience with the Motel 6 that used to be at 4585 South Harding Street, Indianapolis, IN 46217. The hotel was sold to another company, but no one informed us, even though we had two rooms booked months in advance. Just two days before our trip, I checked our reservation and found that it no longer existed. As a result, we had to spend over $300 more for two rooms and ended up 30 minutes away from the convention instead of just 5 minutes. This inconvenience was due to the lack of communication about the hotel change. When I contacted customer service, they wouldn’t offer any solution except to book us new rooms further away at an upcharged rate.

Hotel and booking gone

I booked two rooms at this hotel and it was a terrible experience. One of the rooms smelled so strongly of smoke that it gave me a headache. When we asked for a different room, we were told that they "do not allow smoking." The room was spartan, old, dingy, and the mattress (in both rooms) was rock hard. There was no hot water in either room. We couldn't sleep because people were running around the hallways and screaming, slamming doors, etc all night. I would never, EVER stay here again.

I read the reviews about this particular Motel 6 prior to driving there from Las Vegas, Nevada with my family. I made reservations and paid for a five day stay. The reviews were false and full of lies and deception. This was the most God awful place I’ve ever been to in my Life! The first room was beyond filthy with roaches, so they moved us three doors down to a room that was just as bad as the first room. That room was filthy!  We had to sanitize it with hand sanitizer. The Indian staff was rude, you had to exchange towels to get towels that were so worn the stains were still on them. So we had to purchase towels from Dollar Tree to bathe with. The bathroom had the worst moldy smell! I forgot my Apple Watch and called to see if they found it and they did but gave me 48 hours to get it. I was seven hours away and they didn’t offer to mail it back to me. MY ADVICE TO EVERYONE WHO READ THIS REVIEW, PLEASE NEVER EVER STAY AT THIS MOTEL 6!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT!! THIS PLACE WAS THE PITS!! I REGRET SPENDING OVER $400 FOR A ROOM!!! 

THIS IS THE WORST PLACE EVER!!!

Pleasure to stay here.   Great staff clean rooms new beds and just a relaxing stay.  The staff is very helpful and always eager to make sure the guest is taken care of.   Parking lot nicely cleaned and the updated rooms are perfect.

Great Nights Stay

The parking lot was super clean upon arrival.  Check in was very easy the front desk was a delight.  In the room everything worked perfectly and even had a RoKu tv to watch my favorite shows.  My rest was enjoyable nice and quiet.  Check out went very smoothly and already decided to stay here again when I pass back through.  Great room great prices and the staff was very much a delight 

Perfect stay from start to finish 

Clean parking lot, security on premises, staff was great, stay again for sure.  The motel seems to be working on a remodel, the new rooms look stunning up to date very sleek looking.  Great rates too.  Glad to see them putting attention into the property it shows the staff cares about it and the guests.

Great rooms!

The exterior of the hotel was well maintained, pleasing to the eye and the staff was extra helpful through a mistake in the booking.  Will stay again.  Love how clean the parking lot is and how well maintained it is now. 

Great place to stay, Wonderful rates

Was very nice and clean staff was great they are updating the rooms with all new stuff flooring,head boards, tables,bathrooms the new look is good I look forward to staying more the parking lot even got redone great job

Trip

The hotel was nice and clean.  The staff was friendly and accommodating.  I had to update my reservations last minute and there was no issue with doing so.  

Location was key! It was easy to get around, which was very convenient.  Would recommend this place as a easy, convenient and affordable motel
