I did not actually stay at this location, even though I had a reservation w/ them thru Super.com for the evening of Sept. 17, 2023.
The problem was that the hotel could not find the reservation. According to Super.com's website, it takes anywhere from two to three days for reservations to show up (I'm guessing for all relevant entities/parties). I had made the reservation that same evening. Super.com immediately charged my credit card. The night clerk reached out to the hotel owner/general manager, who said the only thing to do was for me to make another reservation with them directly, and then for me to ask for a refund from Super.com.  That was a ridiculous suggestion, and one that I wasn't going to do. I stayed elsewhere, however almost one month later, this Oyo Hotel and/or Super.com is claiming I stayed there, so my credit card company has not reversed the charges. I spoke to a Saundra on October 9, who claimed she is the general manger, but she said she would have to reach out to the owner(s) to see if they would provide a refund, and it would take up to another seven business days for that to happen, assuming it happens at all.

This is NOT the way to run a hotel or any other business. This is highly indicative of just how piss poor the business practices/operations are at not only this particular OYO hotel location, but the Oyo corporation as well, since they provide no way of being contacted directly via telephone. Super.com is also a website/service to stay away from for the same reasons. Super.com could only be contacted thru online chat thru their app, and that CSR told me that same evening that they would have to escalate the incident, but no one ever contacted me, as they claimed.

One final note is that I had arrived late in the evening at the Oyo hotel in Ingelside. the front door was locked. There was a note on door to call a particular number for "after hours," which I did, only to have no one answer. The night clerk did call me back, and she showed up to unlock the door after I explained why I was there.  Her appearance indicated she had been asleep. There are no words to describe the lack of professionalism and customer service that I experienced that evening.

Owners @ Ingleside, as well as the Oyo hotel chain have the WORST customer service!

if i could give negative stars i would! the staff up front was nice but the rooms were disgusting..Not vacuumed not washed towels, the shower barley worked,and there was rotten food on the floor by the bed and it reeked.Also there was No place to park at all and there was a lot of people that were very loud. We left the room cleaner than when we first got there and they still kept my deposit. This is the worst and dirtiest place ive ever stayed. Very dissapointing

DONT STAY HERE!

Pre-booked our room, quick and fast check-in, room is to be paid upon reception of room key.
The room was very spacious, clean and well maintained.
The rooms are divided over two levels (ground floor and first floor)
Free parking available in front of the rooms
In the middle of the complex a small swimming pool is available.

Nicely surprised

Lupita did a great job with breakfast and happy hour. And all staff was very helpful and friendly, also the room was clean and very nice. On my next business trip I will make sure to book this hotel .

Great Hotel!!

The smell of mildew and smoke in my room.  The smell of paint would have been better, but my son got that room.  Duct tape as a threshold.  Chipped and dirty tub.  Not for me.  Steer clear of this location.  Housekeeping was minimal at best.  

Not completely renovated.

Remodeling is in progress. (Hurricane Harvey) The service and overall experience was high quality. The staff was amazing. Excellent breakfast, fresh fruits, pastries, cereal, WAFFLES, coffee and juices. Great value for your money.

Better than expected.

Our family went to Port A and I had called many hotels around and they were either booked or not available. I called BE and got 4 rooms and the staff were very nice and helped us when our A/C went out. We will definitely return. I liked this hotel, because it was small, not like the bigger He's. Thank you Ingleside.
