The room was fine, clean and comfortable. The appearance of the hotel was terrible. Cigarette butts all over the front door the security door was broken and apparently has been broken for some time. I believe Wyndham needs to stick some money back into their properties and clean them up a little. Fix a few things, paint etc...

Clean up your property

Very dated place.  Needs some TLC . Nice staff.  No diabetic choices for breakfast.  Need to fix rear entrance.  The door doesn’t lock for security. This is not easily Handicap accessible.  A step at the door is an issue to people with mobility problems. 

Clean rooms

Typical Days Inn property.  Outdated, in need to repairs and a major decor updating.  Breakfast offering was underwhelming and not overly appealing.  If you are just needing a bed for a few hours it will work.

Not a Fan

Stayed the night at this location while traveling through the area. Hotel shares the building with a Mexican restaurant which is located on the west side of the structure. Because the front door is the entrance for both locations, parking was a little problematic when I first arrived. The check-in process, however, was quick and easy. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Hotel appeared to be in various states of repair and maintenance. Entrances and hallways were worn and somewhat shabby. Bedroom had some similar well-worn areas, especially the doors to the hallway and bathroom. The sinks and shower appeared to be recently renovated, since they were much more modern and pristine. Mattress and pillows were comfortably soft yet firm. 

Limited continental breakfast, which mostly consisted of bagels, toast, or waffles.

Something Old, Something New

Absolutely amazing property in West Branch right off the highway.  Clean, well maintained.  Everything looked great.  You can tell the owners really take pride in the location.  The mexican food place attached to the property was fantastic too.  

Probably the best DaysInn I've seen...

Room smelt if mold and linens felt wet from such humidity. Staff was friendly by but kinda place you sleep in same days clothes and leave as soon as wake up. Can see they are trying to work on upgrades 

Nice staff poor quality room

Stayed for 1 night, and that was enough. Mexican restaurant attached was a plus.  Only thing I would recommend would be to upgrade the entrance area, hallway, and rooms, including bathrooms.  Storing toilets in the exit hallway isn't good for customers to see also.

They need to learn how to clean the rooms. But it's location is ideal. Short road off 80, some small industry and the Herbert Hoover site. Far enough away from the nearby populated areas for peace of mind. Awesome Mexican (authentic) restaurant. Didn't even check the breakfast spread. 

Nice local, resaurant, desk dude.

The price was to high for a dumpy motel style hotel. The breakfast was pathetic and empty and the staff is clueless and does not understand anything they are saying.

Check other hotels before clicking and booking this one.

We paid way to much for what it is.

The place was nice enough, could use a good once over, and some upgrades.
Otherwise, everyone was nice and accommodating.
The Mexican restaurant is absolutely fantastic, much-needed sustenance after being on the road for 16 hours.
