I stayed here while on a road trip through Michigan. It’s close to everything that Iron Mountain has to offer. I had no problems while I was there. Very quiet area. Close to Walmart and other things in the area. I would recommend staying here. 

Nice place. 

I had a second floor room and my stay was very quiet.  I had a lovely view of the woods behind the hotel.  The room was extremely clean and well maintained.  The front desk staff were personable and friendly.  It was a great value for the price and I would definitely stay here again.

Very clean, quiet, and reasonably priced

This motel room is highly recommended and I now understand why. Great location, clean room, and accessible workout facility. Staff new town and made wonderful recommendations for evening meal.  Recommendation earned. 

Wonderful motel

It's just a nice little place to stay. It's very comfortable, it was quiet, the breakfast was good, Very close to the VA hospital. Great price, too! The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The bed was not overly hard, and I'm so grateful for that. I hate sleeping on the slabs in most hotels.

Quiet, comfortable, decent breakfast; Great Price!

We were in the area for a work related event.  Our reservations were for one night with a late arrival.  One of the members of our group wasn't feeling well so I called the hotel to see if there was a chance to get in early (about noon) and was told absolutely - come on over.  The rest of our group arrived later as planned and the staff was very helpful in getting everything consolidated onto one bill for us.  No hassles, no headaches.  Nice comfortable room with a recliner.  Breakfast isn't fancy, but a nice selection of breads, cereals, waffles and fruit.  Will definitely stay here again when we are in the Iron Mountain area.

Friendly and helpful

We stayed here for 2 nights. The rooms appeared to be very clean and quiet. The whole motel seems to be very clean and well kept up. The only cons were that the towels were extremely rough and the water pressure in the shower was low. The beds were comfortable.

Nice clean rooms

This was right on our highway and convenient. It was just about across the street from Dobber's Pasties - an excellent regional gem.
The MHMI had a cute lobby with a fitness room just up the hall. The room was 2 queen beds, fridge, and microwave. It was very good and especially so for the price - quite reasonable. We slept well. Breakfast the next day was in a small room off the lobby. It was a nice surprise to see breakfast sandwiches offered (microwavable), pastries, coffee, etc. Basic, but it works. If in the area again, this is where I would stay. The room was nice and clean. Staff very nice as well.

A good place at a good price

My husband and I are really light sleepers and it is hard to find places centrally located that are not right on s busy road. This hotel is set back from the road and has a wooded area behind it. So our room 205 was super quiet. 

Staff at desk very friendly and nice. Room nice and clean. Beds on the firm side but comfortable. 

Clean, Quiet, Basic Hotel Centrally Located

Room was spotlessly clean and larger than we thought.  All in all, this is a good place to stay if you are looking for a basic, clean place for the night.  The breakfast was on the skimpy side, but that is typical of these places that offer a free breakfast.  It is a good value, but frankly the on line presence gives the impression that the rates are lower than what we were charged at time of check in. Also, on line they say that they accept AARP but at the desk we were told no they no longer do so.  That is my only, very slight beef.

Clean and comfortable

Hotel was clean and kept up.
Rooms were average but clean.
Staff was courteous and polite.
Breakfast was not as shown in the pictures but microwave sandwiches and oatmeal with coffee and pastries. No cereal, milk or waffles as shown.
Ok for the price.
