Stayed for 2 nights and also enjoyed the lounge on site.  Drinks were super affordable to be so close to JIA.. Locked myself out of the room and the on site employee was sleeping and got up to let me in with no questions asked..

This place is looking good....still has old light fixtures but very friendly and super clean to be an old Hotel

Hotel sits behind a bar that plays loud music all night, and is in a rough section of town, but room was clean even tho it was out of date in its fixtures and amenities. It was very economical in price, and there is a game room on the first floor for adult games. It was kinda sketchy.

Would not take my family there

The staff is very rude(the older lady), not friendly at all. I would never stay here again. When you dealing with people giving you business being kind goes a long way. Place was not clean all!!! I wish I could give a zero!

The lady at the front desk is rude

There is not one good thing I can say about this place.   Please do not stay here.   It's filthy, holes in the walls and the carpet has stains and rips.  It's smells like mildew and ashtrays ( I'm a smoker).  The holes in the walls had tissue plugged in them.  There are people handing out all night in the parking lot.  When I complained the front desk person had the nerve to be nasty but of course what did I expect.  Don't stay here.  

Disgusting

I rented this place off of Expedia.  It is the worst place I have ever stayed.  For starters the main office shuts down around 6 so if you check in after - you have to obtain your key from the smoky hole in the wall bar in front of the property.

The room was completely filthy.  I know the toilet hasn't been cleaned in months - that's a generous estimate.  There was no toilet roll holder so they just put it on the dirty floor.  The sink has a ton of cigarette burns and there were bugs all over this room.  I went to LA early the next morning.  I scratched at my legs the whole time I was in LA from being bit by God knows what kinds of bugs in this dump.    

This isn't a proper motel.  It's a place where john's take their hookers.  It's shouldn't be recommended by any decent travel site.  It's filthy and completely nasty.  Do not stay here unless you are into this sort of thing.

My daughter stayed here when she visited Florida.  She called frightened when she checked in.  There were holes in the walls, no phone, dirty sheets, holes in the sheets, stains on carpet, chairs cushions etc.  As a parent of an adult daughter who calls and feels that she is not safe in this place, you do everything to get her out.  I then booked a hotel just down the street, much safer for more money.  She had called her travel company and they were no help even after stating to them she did not feel safe here.  They hung up on her many times.  As a parent, I would not recommend this to anyone who travels to Jacksonville.

Poor condition

Don't ever stay here! The smell was awful, mold around tub, plastic blinds would not close, cabinets are off hinges. The exterior was in great need of paint and doors with secure locks. It was an exterior that needed better lighting too.
