My girlfriend and I were traveling through and called first because of the good rate. Spoke with larry who is genuinely friendly and we felt comfortable just like home because the room was very clean. For some reason we could not find the remote for the tv, even larry came with a flashlight but in the morning it turned up on the floor, must be the “carlag” I travel a lot and im from california so not everyone is friendly and there are wierdos everywhere and I may be one too but im real so it was nice to meet and talk to a good person, thanks larry!

This is how every budget motel experience should be

We were going through town and just needed a place to stay for the evening. Not looking for any frills.  Good price, the rooms are dated, but they are exceptionally clean, towels are mismatched but very soft.  Only downfall was no shampoo, but had my own anyway.  Would definitely stay again.

Very Clean

NO vending machines or phones, this motel harkens to the days of simplicity. WiFi is their lone concession to today's technology.

The desk clerk/owner assisted me with my bags and even turned on the baseboard heat. 

The bed was spacious and quite comfortable. The bath has mis-matched towels, but that just adds to the flavour.

Quaint Mom & Pop

I had to stay at the Buffalo Motel not by choice, but because there were no other options. While the room was clean, the beds were uncomfortable and old, and the sheets and blankets were thin. The internet didn't have signal as far away from the office as we were, which was a disappointment. The bathroom had no soap or shampoo, so I went to the manager.
The manager was rude and condescending, and when I asked him about the internet, he sighed in a very put-upon way and informed me in a very exasperated tone that the internet didn't go that far. When I asked him for soap and shampoo, he acted as though I had asked him for the PIN to his ATM card. He made a big fuss about getting the soap, which is usually complimentary in most motels/hotels. He DID make sure to remind me numerous times that I needed to keep my children quiet when they weren't acting up or being loud.
I would stay somewhere else.
