This hotel now is Colonial Motel. Repainted the outdoor, but the indoor is a different story. Stay away. Plugged sink, with standing water. Smells mildew as soon as you enter. $150/night! Overprice for a place like this. Spider web everywhere. Need a major clean up! Will not return!

Disgusting

The bathroom shade was missing slats so we had to drape a towel for privacy. Another renter opened our door with their key!! If it had happened when we were sleeping we could have been robbed or worse.

ABV is usually my choice when I travel, but this time it was not and will not be my next stay.   I realize there needs to be a hotel for work gangs to sleep and eat and that is fine, but those Hotels should be presented as such a "Workers Stay" etc. Not to be confused with reg. travelers or vacationers expecting normal + accommodations.  This Hotel is defiantly a "Workers Stay"

nice people and a good, decent breakfast. Also reasonably priced BUT I came in Mid February in upstate New York it was FREEZING and even at 86 it was still more or less cold air coming out . with a good heater I would give this place a five star review for the price which is good

I have never been more disgusted in my life with a hotel. Words won’t do it justice. Stains on sheets, broken handles, stains on ceilings, I was too exhausted but would’ve ran if I could. Please do not let your family stay here,  it really needs to be shut down.

ZERO STARS IF I COULD! RUN!!!

Our group had various tales of problems with the many rooms we had booked. Mine was good, but really smelled of past years of smoke. Others in our gang had wet towels that had not been changed, plugs that didn't work, sinks propped up by 2x4,, noisy night up to 3AM with rude people checking in late, etc. Limited breakfast, but close to a fun, good bar/restaurant. We canceled our 2nd night.

Our group had mixed reviews, so so place.

terrible , go somwhere else , if you cant say something nice or good dont say anything at all , Noisey, spiders , lights, aweful continental breakfast, if you like these things then your good ! Highly go somewhere else .

Worst stay ever !

We reciently stayed at Americas Best Value Inn in Jamestown while taking our granddaughter to college. Much to our surprise we found the door unlocked when we got there. We thought we could at least lock it from the inside - NOT Possible. When we went to the front desk the person told us, with a flip attidude, "Just slam the door". This didn't work either. We felt we were in a rather safe place and just used the privacy lock for the night. We felt that the management should have done something about it. It sounded like this is a common problem with a lot ot the doors.

Doors Don't Lock

It's not the Ritz, but the America's Best Value Inn in Jamestown, NY is good value.  My room was clean and comfortable, and had obviously been upgraded compared to some other rooms at this property described by other reviewers.  My room had clean, new carpet and a newly tiled bathroom.  Room had a microwave and refrigerator.  I had some trouble initially connecting to the wifi, but once connected it was fast and worked well.  The front desk clerk wasn't outgoing but she was polite. Shopping and restaurants (chain as well as private) were nearby in both directions, towards Jamestown and towards Lakewood.  I checked out the included continental breakfast and it had bagels, a waffle maker, cereal, juice, coffee.  Breakfast was basic but good, lots of tables, and in a clean dining room.  All in all, for what I paid, I thought it was fine.

Clean, and good value for money

Lady at front desk is rude, place is a dump, the room I booked they said they didn’t have so it was false advertisement. The shelf just fell out of the wall when we walked into the room. If we would have been sleeping it would have been on our heads. Electric was out the entire night. I can’t believe they charge this much a night here. Should be more like 39.99 a night. Pool is dirty. Bedding with burn holes in it. Jamestown is a dump period. 
Pay more to stay somewhere else’s! It will be worth it to NOT stay here! Go to Bemus point or anywhere but here!!! Wish we had known!
