The front desk person was very rude when I had a problem also the housekeeper knocked we screamed just a minute but would  not wait if i did not use the the door lock he would have came in the room the door opened enough that he could see my kids sleeping it scared the heck out of them they where to scared to sleep that following night and after I get to the door and has the nerve to ask if I want room service mind you we checked in the night before

The front desk guy, Julius, was very polite and friendly. The room was clean. The bedding was clean. The bed was very firm. There was a refrigerator and a microwave in the room. The a/c worked but the temperature didn’t seem to sync up with the number so we had to mess with that a little to get our desired temp. Very basic room. Coffee  provided in a common area in the mornings. I’d be ok staying here again as long as I had my husband with me. I probably wouldn’t feel comfortable staying here by myself because it’s a motel and all room entrances are on the outside.  Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby.

Ok Room for One Night

Room was clean but had a strong smell of cleaning fluid. Matress must have been 20 years old. Bad nights sleep. 90. Dollars a night I was very disappointed. Check your room and mattress before you check in.

I dont usually do reviews but I thought to myself "what the heck". This motel definitely deserved it. This motel actually exceeded my expectations. The rooms were spotless and comfortable. The staff were polite and welcoming. After a long day of business entering the hotel was like my home away from home. Whether its business or pleasure I would recommend this motel to anyone!! Dont cheat yourself, treat yourself to this motel 6 in Janesville, WI....

Recommend To All

After a 10 hour drive I decided to pull off the road when the sun started to come down, as I always do. I'm a solo female driver who travels for work. I made the choice of staying at the Motel 6 based on the previous nights stay at the Motel 6 in Erie, PA.  I thought I could make staying at that chain some sort of "thing".  I was wrong.  When I pulled up I saw a bunch of people hanging around outside, which I thought was suspicious. I parked and asked the front desk agent about pricing, and also if all the people where "locals" or fellow travelers. She responded that the motels guests were mainly comprised of locals (essentially the owner operates as an apartment building), she herself having had lived there. I asked her if I was safe, and if my car would be broken in to. She said no. The people were sketchy, many to a room, loud music playing. Going against my better instincts I booked the room, as I was tired. As soon as I walked in the smell of mold consumed me. The beds had been slept in, and the sheets thrown back on. Or, someone had been hanging out in the room. None of the dressers were wiped, and there was crud along the bed. It was filthy, and I didn't feel safe.  I went to the front desk at demanded a refund. Tessa was very helpful. She refunded my money, and helped me book a room at the Baymont, 1 Exit south on the Interstate. I HIGHLY recommend staying there instead.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!

Staff was very nice and put us in a handicap room when I mentioned my dad was on O2. Good location. Room was clean but bathroom could use so elbow grease to clean the tile. Okay for a short stay but wouldn’t stay for an extended trip.  

One Nights Stay

YOU DON'T PAY MUCH, SO DON'T EXPECT MUCH.. Old, tired, worn out, not especially clean, you can hear a conversation in the room next door.  This same room can be found in hotel coupon books for $ 45 a night...  that's how I got caught.
Spend a couple of $ more anywhere else and get a good nights sleep with beds that don't actually make noises everytime you move.

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR

This room wasn't the cleanest...especially the phone. 
After we got settled in we went out to eat. When we returned we could not get into our room (door problems) Staff offered for us to wait in the lobby because it was cold out but we declined. Maintenance was called...a very nice gentleman named Al fixed the problem and let us in. We had trouble with the door in the morning too. Due to the inconvenience they waived our room fee which did make us feel a little better. The staff was apologetic and tried their best to solve the door problem quickly.

Even with a discount I wouldn’t try this hotel again. Room smelled vile, like moldy pee. Air conditioner was completely encased in a block of ice. 

There was a guy just standing around in the back handing off something (drugs?) to cars as they passed through the parking lot. 

Disappointing stay. Motel 6 can do better than this.
