I found this hotel online and all the trees on the property caught my attention right away, beautiful! I went at the end of December. It was too cold to use the pool but there were 2 fire pits outside that they light in the evening. The room was spacious and the beds were very comfy! The fridge was stocked with complimentary beverages (water/soda/juice).  Ms Diane was so hospitable during my check-in & check-out. I hope to return soon.

Southern Hospitality

The bed was so soft and comfortable!! Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. Once we checked in, we were even greeted with champagne! The room was very clean. Also the view was spectacular! 5 stars! We will definitely be staying here again.

Absolutely wonderful experience!

My review is everything you have read in most of the reviews you probably just read, if you check in and Diane is at the desk you are being greeted by one of the best greeters ever and when you meet the rest of the staff they are all the nicest of people. That being said, stay there you will only want to go back and Jekyll Island is the place you want to be if you like biking, walking, or just plane old for real relaxation.

Chain Hotels Should take some Lessons

We were well received upon checking in with an offered glass of champagne. The staff was very friendly and cordial. The room was nicely furnished wirh very comfortable beds and drinks in the fridge. We enjoyed being so close to the beach and a lovely view of the morning sunrise right out our front window.

This was an unexpected little gem tucked away under beautiful live oaks, facing the ocean with a beautiful sunrise.

This is a beautifully landscaped hotel that sits right on the beach and is on the bike path. They have outdoor swings, fire pits and several outside seating areas. When we arrived, we felt very welcomed, and we even were offered glasses of champagne. We were given an upgrade to a large balcony room that had gorgeous views. Our room was large and included in microwave and refrigerator. There was even robes in the room. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend.

Beautifully landscaped hotel right on the beach.

Tracy and I had a wonderful time. Everything at The Beachview Club was perfect. The staff especially Diane H made our stay fantastic. Our room was spotless, the amenities were spot on. Diane was very helpful guiding us to some of the more interesting features of Jekyll Island as well as providing many suggestions for place toe eat that had a locals touch. We will be returning in the near future for another visit.

Tom & Tracy get away

Fantastic location on the Northern end of the island away from the Village and congestion.  My husband and I spent three nights in Suite 405 which is on the second floor with a private balcony nicely shaded by swaying palm tree fronds.  The kitchenette is nicely equipped with plates, bowls, mugs and highball glasses and utensils (set of two each).   The bed was heavenly.  The linens were silky and the bed was soft and comfy.  The suite was squeaky clean (minor mildew in the shower--hardly a surprise at the beach, it just needed a bit of Clorox).  The suite was roomy with storage space.  Two days prior to our arrival, Diane H called to offer to make our anniversary stay special for us with any requests we might have.  I was floored; we had never had any such call from places with higher rent.  We arrived earlier than check-in time and Diane H with lovely Southern charm graciously welcomed us and offered a complimentary glass of champagne.  It was a lovely way to start our stay.  One day, we had to have our room unlocked and while we waited on maintenance, she warmly chatted and shared stories with us.  I really hated to leave and can't wait to return.  PS:  Bring bug spray--the sand gnats are unavoidable.

We plan to return to this Gem!

Second time here.  Location is great as are accommodations.  The welcome glass of champagne was very much appreciated!  Will keep coming back.

Was checked in by Diane H who couldn’t have been any friendlier and helpful.  Stopped down in the lobby area numerous times during our stay and she was a great help every time.  A big thank you to Diane!

Returned to Beachview after lovely stay in 2018. Was even better than I remembered, love the quiet, rooms are clean & well-appointed. Upon check-in, Will was gracious, warm, & welcoming; he was attentive to several guests, handling multiple tasks with ease and confidence while creating a wonderful atmosphere.This level of service continued throughout my stay. Definitely coming back, already booked another reservation!

Secluded relaxation and amazing hospitality

The Beachview setting is marvelous:towering palms and lovely courtyard landscaping around the pool. Feels like the Carribean plus oceanfront!The staff is great, so friendly. Diane is superb and so hospitable plus DJ, Jonesy, William!
