This was the best experience I have had in years!! I 'd recommend this place over any in the area!! staff is very helpful and they the sweetest manager she is so professional! they need a ice machine but other than that very comfortable place to stay

Best place to stay in the area

Every since we have got there Shanda is always very helpful and she is always smiling she makes this place great. Staff is always helpful. This place is very clean so thank you guys for everything

Shanda is amazing

We have been living here for over 2 years. We did not intend to stay here so long but after staying a few months in a life transition, we found it to be a great place for us to live a simpler life for the time being.  This is not a fancy hotel with tons of amenities. Costs are kept down in order to provide a better value. We consider our room a small apartment and it meets all of our needs. The hotel is clean and I am very happy it is now a non-smoking hotel. I would recommend this hotel to others that need a place to stay for an extended period of time. The location is excellent. 

I have done a few reviews in the past. For this one, I would like to specifically address the outstanding customer service we have received from 3 employees that are the only ones still here that were here when we first came in June 2019.  These employees are loyal and committed to this Woodsprings Suites and are a big part of the reason we are still here. They are Gustie who works in Customer Service, Kevin who handles Maintenance  and Lisa, who has worked as a housekeeper and is now the Porter. These employees have kept this place together during the pandemic and A LOT of employee turnover, especially in the Customer Service area....a special thank you to Gustie for filling in whenever needed.  Thank you all for what you do to provide a great experience for your guests.  It has meant a lot to us during some difficult times.

We love it here !

We were so happy and thrilled with the service we got from friendly very accommodating Front Desk staffer Gustia! We had no reservation and she tried very hard to find us a month long room rental. Luckily a cancellation happened as I was leaving and Gustia put us into that room, was SO appreciated and saved us a huge headache trying to find other longer term accommodations at the end of a 2000 mile road trip to relocate here. Lovely clean Hotel and nice kitchenette type rooms for a more extended stay, love them and the great king staffer Gustia!

Wonderful Front Desk staffer!

We have been staying here for almost 2 years. The current staff is superb. They are kind, responsive and hard-working. We first came here for medical reasons but are not in a big hurry to leave; it feels like home to us. I would recommend this Woodspring Suites to anyone, especially those looking for somewhere to stay during life’s transitions.

Fantastic Staff - Affordable - Clean

My husband and I have now been here for  about 17 months. We came here from a small town to be closer to medical facilities. The room/efficiency apartment has served our purposes very well. There has been a lot of turnover in staff since we arrived.  We have missed a lot of the employees that left and we hope that the few that remain from when we first came will stay. 

Gustie is one of the employees that has been here since we first arrived. She feels like “family” and has always been responsive to all of our needs. She is very loyal to this place and treats everyone with respect and a desire to please...great customer service.

During difficult times, we have felt comfortable and secure here. We would recommend Woodspring Suites to anyone needing temporary or even long-term simple housing.

Home for over a year!

My stay was very pleasant and delightful. The hotel was very clean and beds were comfortable. Very convenient that they have kitchenettes. Amanda at the front desk was very helpful and kind. Thank you for a great experience! Ill be sure to tell friends and family.

Great place.

Friendly, knowledgeable, and hardworking staff will make your stay at WoodSpring Suites in Johnson City, TN a memorable one. Keira, Gustie, and Amanda provide excellent customer service at the front desk, while also helping to keep the hotel very clean. Lisa, Mary, Alicia, and the other Amanda in housekeeping do an excellent job of cleaning the guests rooms, laundry room, lobby, elevators, etc.  Kevin in maintenance is always quick to fix any problem you might have in your room, always with a smile on his face. The grounds and parking areas are well maintained. All of these employees are a real asset to WoodSpring Suites. They all work hard with no grumbling, and are very kind and courteous.

Great place to stay.

The staff has been very accommodating so far. I have been here for over a month. Hotel is quiet and has a safe feel about it. They are trying to work me into a larger room since I now have a puppy traveling with me and I am sure they will work it out. I have stayed in hotels all over the south east US  and I would recommend this one if you are out this way
