Nice cozy place. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spotless!!! Way too good that it was expected. I would say best quality for the price. Definitely recommended to my friends and family already and for sure I will visit again.

Comfortable place

I have been here at the scottish inn for almost 3 months now. It's quite, very clean, the people are awesome that run this place. NO BUGS AT ALL! It's a half mile from anything you could want or need. Just an all around great place cheap prices. A great experience! Recommend for anyone for a night or long term.

Love this place

Nice an clean and fro the area and the price I was seriously impressed I would totally stay again here and would recommend it to anyone on a budget that just needs a place to crash for the night if ur in the area.    Front desk lady was great also

Good all around stay

Traveling alone, the guy at the front desk kept offering me a free massage. No power in the room, door locks didn't work. He barged in a couple of times until I pulled out an ax from my bag and left in on the table where he could see it.
I feel like if I were a weak woman I would have been raped that night.

Watch out for the pervert.

Room wasn't clean, management told me one thing then said another after I paid for the room, which I wouldn't have done if I knew they didn't understand how time works in America.  Toilet leaked and barely flushed. No ice machine. They literally don't care about their customers or the quality they provide them. Also, has cockroaches.

Management is very RUDE, don't understand a word they say, and don't understand that after midnight its the next day.

The management was polite, the room was not what ordered. Location is sketchy. seriously I don't get scared easily, but did not want to stay here! Noisy and with 50 feet of a major freeway. just ridiculous.

This is a sketchy place

Price is not everything... I received a rude call from the owner the day of check in demanding my 3 digit security code to hold the room that had been booked for months in advance , Upon arrival I was charged 13 dollars more ( for two nights ) than the price I was quoted . The room was non smoking ( with burn holes in our sheets ) . The room was not very clean . The bathroom was not that awesome either towels were like sand paper and stained, soap was like chewing gum . The staff was unfriendly throughout our two days there when I needed more towels I had to go get my dirty ones first . The website said they have a pool , their pool is closed and as dirty and unfriendly as the place was I would not feel like the pool was managed well enough to get in ...if they had it opened.  I have the need for several more nights in Jonesboro and I will not be staying here ever again

PLEASE FIND A BETTER PLACE TO STAY

Don't waste your time or money here.  We stayed only because it was almost 1am and we were still 4 hours from home and needed a place to sleep.  The only positive things I can say is that the beds were fairly comfortable and our sheets were clean and the air conditioner worked very well.  Now for the negatives--- the light in the bathroom would not come on, the floor was dirty, the towel rack came out of the wall when you touched it.  There was mildew on the shower curtain and there was a twist tie with part of the metal showing that I stepped on.  My husband wanted to get them to move us to another room when we discovered the light broken but I was too tired to go fight with them so we made do.  Upon checkout I took the thing I stepped on to the desk and told them what happened and that they must not clean the room very well.  The guy there just said ok.  I told him all the other things that were wrong and told him they need to get it fixed because I would be posting a review on tripadvisor.  I wish I would have been able to read the reviews before I stayed because I would have kept on driving. I took pictures of the room so everyone could see what they are getting into.

Needs to be cleaned

Don't stay here. You WILL regret it. Pictures of the building on the site are old. This place is quite rundown, and in total disrepair. We were in town for a trade show, and booked 3 rooms. Very old, smelly and obviously had smokers who had stayed there. My room was no smoking and still had an ashtray in it. One of our members had to clean her bathroom herself before she felt comfortable to use it. There were also some very "sketchy" people staying there. At 5:30am on Saturday morning a woman was pounding on one of the doors, screaming and demanding to be let into the room because her husband had apparently spent the night there with another woman. On Saturday afternoon, at around 5PM my team wanted to meet in the lobby to discuss our plans for the show. The owner told us we could not meet there and when I questioned him he said that it was for conducting business for the hotel, not for guests to conduct meetings. He knew we were all guests, we were all in business attire, so he knew we weren't bums, yet he was still rude, insolent and condescending. There also really isn't a breakfast. They have watered-down coffee and "little Debbie" individually wrapped tiny, nasty-looking cinnamon rolls. Horrible place!

One of the worst places I've ever stayed.

This is the most horrible hotel I stayed in. Its a waste of $50. The towels are stained. (Yellowish). The bathroom floor is dirty. Sheets were cut up & stained. Had to bring our own. Microwave was broke. When we first entered the room it was COLD. Fridges weren't plugged up. I found a roach on the wall. Tried to kill it, but it got away.  It felt like a dirty atmospere . period!!! & the old man he's creepy looking. Also, they put they dirty towels in a shopping cart as they dirty hamper. Weird... Do not waste your time or $.
