My son and I have stayed here a few times. We really enjoy the fact that it has kitchenette so we’re able to cook and not eat out every night when we’re skiing. The rooms have always been extremely clean in the staff very friendly highly recommend.

Great place

Great value and location within walking distance of restaurants.  Extremely clean, very comfortable bed. Nice amenities. It was great to have a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Friendly front desk. 

We stayed in room 122 which was a two bedroom suite. The place was clean, the beds were comfortable. The kitchen had all the basic things to cook (you need your own cooking spray, condiments, coffee filters etc). Our room had a wood stove which came in handy as we had a big blizzard on NYE and lost power twice (though it came back on quickly it was nice knowing we would have heat). The lake is down the street which had a nice area to play in the snow. Though we loved staying here (definitely plan on being back) some things to think about:
They allow dogs so if you are allergic this might be an issue (by the end of the week my allergies were pretty bad). 
You are about 20min to Mammoth depending on the road conditions. We got pretty lucky with the snow and our plans but they did shut down the freeways which could leave some travelers stuck). 
Overall everyone was nice and friendly and we really enjoyed our stay!

Home away from home

Filthy and stained carpet - should either remove or clean much better. (Room 124.)

Given that room has full kitchen, and it seems to be a “fisherman’s” motel,  I recommend remove carpet entirely.

Friendly staff and beds were comfortable. It was ok for one night but not a place for a quiet longer getaway. 

Also, walls are thin and late arrivals and early risers woke us up.

Ok for one night.

My husband and I spent 3 nights here with our little dog. We had a standard room which was great for us! The room was clean and comfortable. It had a cute table with 2 chairs, fridge, coffee maker and microwave which was very convenient as we brought our own breakfast items, and made lunches for our hikes. The location was perfect to walk to dinner in the evenings, as well as, walking to the lake. I would definitely stay here again.

A convenient place to stay

We stayed here as a reasonably priced base camp for visiting Yosemite and area attractions. After adventures, having several good restaurants within walking distance was a big value. When we arrived early, we were “upgraded” to a 1 bedroom, unit 115. Full kitchen, living and bedroom with queen bed. Furnishings were dated like my grandmother’s basement but it had everything we needed. The rooms to each side have very thin walls and the stop sign in front the room made for traffic noise. We enjoyed our stay and would for sure return. Maybe would choose another more updated room.  The June Lake loop was amazing with the Aspens changing color.

Good location, basic amenities

Great motel in a good location at June Lake. We had room 123 with a queen bed and twin bed both very comfortable. A rollaway bed was also available. We loved the full sized kitchen. Staff was extremely friendly and we were allowed to check in early which was nice. We would have stayed a 2nd night if the same room had been available.

Good choice at June Lake

We enjoyed our stay here. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. There was a guest laundry (coin op) which came in handy. Room had a small fridge (no freezer) and microwave.  There was a courtyard with seating and maybe a BBQ.  Right next door to a couple of restaurants.

Good motel on the east side of Yosemite

Very Friendly staff, got their early in morning, approx 10:30, and was advised I could check in early when room finished. Received text around 12:30 with door code and room #.  Room, single queen was nice, quiet at night, well kept and CLEAN!.  walking distance to everything in Village.

Enjoyed my Stay

We greatly enjoyed our stay at June Lake Villager, even though it was only one night.  We wanted to stay longer but needed to get home after being on the road for almost three weeks.  We had always been to June Lake in later summer or autumn (for the leaves) and it was such a treat to see waterfalls tumbling down the cliffs when we went for a ride after dinner.  We got up early this morning to get some photos of them in good light.

The hotel/resort was very pleasant and we really liked the room.(We had a motel style room with one queen bed).  My husband was very taken with the retro style decor.  The bed was comfy (and NOT jiggly like some hotel beds), the water was hot, and the coffee in the room was actually good. I especially enjoyed having lotion included in the toiletry amenities after weeks in the desert; we had run out! We hope to return for the foliage to celebrate my husband's birthday in October.
