Kona Seaspray is comprised of two buildings across the street from the shore.  We stayed at the three story building and on the third floor - the view was very nice, sitting on the deck and watching the sunset each evening.  The condo units are recently remodeled and fully appointed.  There is a nice pool area with BBQ units.  You are two blocks from a beach park on a cove with swimming and surfing.  The only demerit was the road between the place and the shore is busy.  We would go back again.

Nice property, great view and location in Kona

Our family has stayed for 3-4 weeks in January at the Kona Seaspray for over 15 years. It is a wonderful location with ocean views throughout the grounds. From some of the units and pool area you can lounge and watch the surfers and paddle boarders, whales, etc. Walk a short distance and rent to do the same. Kahaluu Bay is a place to snorkel but please observe proper beach and reef etiquette. 
The owner is usually on site and communicates with quick response. The Seaspray is the perfect family destination.

Greatest place to stay in the Kahaluu/Keahou area

We had never been to Hawaii before and this is the most excellent location and facility for a relaxing but active time in the sun.  Next time we come we will not hesitate to come here again. This spot is surrounded by beauty.  The back of the facility is jungle with loads of beautiful birds and the view from our unit in the front is the sea and local area and beech. Sunsets extraordinaire.  Surfers to observe right from the balcony, then if you want to surf -- a shop is a few hundred feet down the road.  The beech right there and the snorkeling is excellent.    Loads of beautiful fish.  Access to fun is very available -- star observations, volcano action, high end restaurants within a few miles and right up the hill a regular shopping center with views to amaze, and less. expensive options. Shopping easy.  Short drives to department stores to meet any need. What a perfect location!  But it is easy just to rest here and be peaceful.  Nice kitchen in the rental, laundry in the unit.  Simply beautiful and in Hawaii.  A great place to come back to!  No need to look further.  And the beds were comfortable.  WOW, and a pool with picnic tables under shade part of the facilities here.

Extraordinary Vacation Location

I stayed at the Kona Sea Spray in the Presidential Suite and what a treat. The location is fantastic, and close to everything. The owner was very helpful and responded promptly when we had questions. We stayed for 10 days, and it wasn't nearly enough. Sitting and having coffee with the gorgeous koi fish in the pond was a delight, and a great way to start our day. We would highly recommend this place. 5 stars

Amazing house

Stayed at Kona Seaspray and the adjacent Kona Reef and couldnt recommend it more.

Dealt with Bob the owner and he was always very attentive and responsive. Great guy all around.

Location was ideal. Right on ali-drive but on the quieter end, so night time was beautiful and serene. 

The two units we saw were gorgeous. Spacious and clean. Parking was conveniently right next to each unit.

Would stay here again!

Great units & people!

Our family arrived in Hawaii at 3:30pm and our originally planned VRBO was not what the pictures led us to believe it was. We started searching for new spots and found the Kona Seaspray. Bob immediately took us on a mini tour of the property and we knew this was the place to stay. Beautiful rooms (we stayed in 302) and the best view you can ask for. We had a few questions for Bob shortly after unpacking and we was always very responsive. Clean, well priced place to stay- we would not hesitate to make this our first choice if we return to Kona.

Hawaii Visit

Arrived to the island late Sunday afternoon when our Airbnb fell through. We frantically were searching for another place to stay when we found Kona Seaspray. Bob immediately answered my call and met us to show available rooms. The rooms were exceptionally clean and perfect location! The pool area was also a huge bonus. I would definitely recommend Kona Seaspray for anyone traveling to The Big Island!

Family Vacation at Kona Seaspray Room 301

We have stayed here many time and each time is better then the last.  Bob keeps the place beautiful and he is a great friendly guy.  Rooms are very clean and comfortable.  Met great people at the pool.  Snorkeling right across the street.  Great spot, near everything you need, store and restaurants only a mile away.  Can’t wait to come back!

Of all the lodging options The Big Island has to offer, this one has them all beat! 🌺From the moment we arrived at The Seaspray, we knew we'd made the right decision in choosing this lovely, unassuming locale over the chaos and commercialization of the resorts. For starters, Bob was an absolutely phenomenal host. He and his staff were more like friends and family than anything else and truly went above and beyond to see that my hubby and I would want for nothing on our belated honeymoon. We were afforded all of the amenities we needed, and then some that resorts just can't hold a candle to... Like being made to really feel at home in paradise. Not to mention getting to experience the island through the eyes of a local. No overstuffed tour busses or made in China knockoffs. This is a beautifully, charming, subtle yet totally upscale accommodation that's all class. From the breathtaking sunset views enjoyed while indulging in fantastic "pupus" (Hawaiian appetizers), to the serenity of the calm morning ocean while sipping 100% Kona Coffee, we were spoiled and pampered beyond our wildest expectations. Many Mahalos to Bob and everyone at the Seaspray for making memories Nicholas and I will treasure for a lifetime. We will most definitely be back sooner than later. Made jumping through all the Covid-19 travel hoops TOTALLY WORTH IT!!! 💖💝💕

Very clean very nice staff very welcoming and my family appreciated the hospitality. They showed us love and it was awesome! This is a very nice location the ocean is right across the street beautiful view
