Rooms smell like cigarettes and the carpets were dirty. When I requested to change the room because the "Non-Smoking" room reeked of cigarettes, I was changed to another room. This room had hardwood floors and the floors had all kinds of stains on them. This room ALSO smelled like cigarettes. Overall, we had to cancel our 2nd night because of how uncomfortable the stay was.

The room was ok and breakfast was ok but we had issues with the credit card charges. We originally reserved and paid with my daughter's credit card. When we arrived I asked to use my card instead. I received the receipt showing the credit on my daughter's card and the debit on my card.
Several days later she checked her card transactions and found two debit charges from the hotel. So now we have paid 3 times for 1 night. After a phone call to the hotel instead of 2 credits on her card there was another debit. Now it's  4 charges. It took several calls to  the same rude person and a call the credit card/bank to finally fix the issue. All this ended up costing $20 in exchange charges and the cost of numerous long distance calls from Canada to the US. Won't stay there again. Check you credit card transaction before you leave that hotel.


Problems with credit card charges and hostile service to fix it. 

One thing I know I will never rent a room on this motel at Kalamazoo Michigan the pool was very dirty and hurt everyone from my family they put so so much chlorine on the pool water we couldn’t have fun at all we had to get out so quickly because the water was burning our eyes so bad that we had to get out I almost thought that I was blind because I couldn’t open my eyes because the water had so much bleach on it that bad it was I still have to go to check my eyes because I think the water damage my eyes I still see blurry and it’s haven’t been 1 day that I been in my room if you guys don’t believe me we’ll send a inspector to check the water from the pool and they will let you guys no that they over put chlorine on it the rear deserve a refund because that’s why we rented inside pool motel to use the pool and we can use it

Very poor service especially the pool they didn’t even have any towels for Customers  and Family and the rooms are very 

Just horrible look at my story from the jump this is wild no sodas everything out of order if it wasn't for that service dog getting me a soda oml I would never come again thanks to da weed man in the back with the van

Horrible dogs in the place loved the service dog that dog was amazing but old dogs walking upstairs no soda 

Wouldn’t stay here again, unless had no other choice in Kalamazoo, the back door was left completely unlocked with no need for a key or anything to enter, not the safest hotel, dirty room. Not nice receptionist who acted like we were a bother and like I was an alien checking in.

The room carpet was very dirty, the beds weren’t comfortable at all, the clerk wasn’t friendly, & the breakfast was iffy

Great, spacious room with hot tub; great breakfast and service. Room was clean and well-accomdated. We were allowed late checkout which was very nice. The breakfast was very good. All employees were kind and helpful.

After checking in and settling our stuff in the room I proceeded to take a shower while my girlfriend friend was on the phone. After realizing how messed up the shower and bathroom was and not working properly. I said something to my girlfriend and she said there was left over stuff out on the floor from the previous guest. We found champagne bottle, court beer bottle, tops, dirt, and food on the floors. The hot tub was horrible looking head cracked and peeling caulk all around the outside edge along the tub. Then the whole integrity of your the security of the room, as in the locks to the door and the door remaining shut. You had to actually slam the door and yank on it from the inside to get it to stay shut and latch properly. I tried slamming it, showing on it also slamming my hip into it to get it to slam shut properly and it still wouldn’t. After realizing that I went and spoke with him about it, and they couldn’t find me another room or didn’t have another room. And said they couldn’t refund me my money because the management wasn’t there. Upon management speaking with me they still didn’t refund me my money, saying there was nothing wrong with the room and I used it. I was checked into that room a total of 45 minutes long enough to take a shower realize how bad it was and leave yet there’s still arguing about refunding my money.

I had a great stay! My bed was super comfortable. And they had free breakfast. The hotel was conveniently located by the airport. The Wi-Fi was fast. The staff over at this hotel makes you feel like family. I definitely recommend this place.

Nice place

We had a very good experience at this hotel. My wife was little hesitant after reading reviews. But hotel has nothing like that very clean,comfortable and staff are very excellent and polite. Talk to manager about reviews and she says out of one person from one team had an issue so all from the team wrote the bed reviews 
But we didn't had any issues. Beds are comfy breakfast was great. Will definitely be back to this hotel

Great stay

A super nice quiet environment with a good HOT breakfast instead of just cereal and yogurt. BUT THE STAFF ARE SO. INCREDIBLE!! They are DO SWEET, PERSONABLE, ACCOMMODATING…. I LOVE staying here when I’m  in town just to relax…
