I had stayed here previously and have to say this time it was nicer. The mattresses and comforters were new as well as the carpet and bathroom. My only complaint is the towels were disgusting and definitely need to be rags. The outside of the hotel is still in need of being remodeled but the rooms are much better. They do have a small continental breakfast included. Allowing pets to stay for $10pn is a huge bonus for us.

Motorcycle friendly, park at your door, courtyard style motor lodge right next door to a restaurant. 
Older establishment yet our room was very well furnished  and comfortable. It had all of the in room amenities and everything worked. Front desk gal was cheerful, and helpful - check in was a breeze.
Like a previous reviewer, we couldn't find anything to complain about. All of this for under 80 bucks. Super value and we'll definitely make this a highway 36 stop in the future.

Pleasantly surprised

We paid $71 for a roadside motel.  I'm used to Best Western, but this was all there was in the area.  Yes, it is dated. Yes, I cringed a little at the avocado tub.  But the lady at the front desk was pleasant.  The room was old but clean.  The water pressure was good.  The shampoo smelled nice.  The toilet was new-ish.  The sheets were clean, the bed was comfy, the TV worked.  The wifi was pretty decent.  I can't really say anything bad about it.  We couldn't hear our neighbors.  If you have to stay halfway across the state in Kansas....it's not the worst place I've stayed and I do not feel they over charged me.

you get what you pay for

I was surprised by the room. No doubt about it, its old and needs upgrading but they were clean. Beds were comfortable as were the pillows. There was a refrigerator and microwave in the room. The shower was ok and the towels were thin and worn. 
The A/C unit worked great as well the other appliances, There was no breakfast but a restaurant was located next door.

old motel but staff was friendly

From the outside, the motel looks run down.  Once in the room, we found a clean room with comfortable beds and everything we needed for the night.  The carpet looked new.  This is an older motel, so there were some minor things that we found that might bother others--the door stuck and we had to really push to get it opened or closed (once closed it was very secure), and the bathroom could use some updating, but was clean.  We also needed an accessible room as my sister uses a walker, and we were put in a room near a ramp and with no step into the room.  The bathroom was not quite big enough for the walker to fit, but the layout was such that she could get to everything she needed without the walker. All in all, this was a very pleasant surprise and we would recommend!

Very good! Would stay again

Had to spend the first 30 minutes killing flies inside the room, and then noticed a dirty and heavily stained mattress when checking for bed bugs, then returned to the room at 1 AM after a community gathering and the hotel lost power at 2 AM and without a back up generator the room quickly became hot and steamy because of the Kansas summer conditions. At 4 Am I decided to pack up and leave since power wasn't restored and I was hot and sweaty but was informed that there would not be a refund because it was an act of God. Buyer Beware!

Flies, stains and no power!

Two rooms reserved and were confirmed. At arrival at 2:30 pm, I was informed they were overbooked. There may have been five cars at the place. Who gets bumped when no one is there? Very few cars later that evening and the same the next morning. I smell a rat which would smell better than the lobby of this motel. It absolutely reeked from cooking, hung on my clothes for hours. I've stayed there for many years - never again.

They will lie and say they need credit card info to reserve room and miss use that information. They made me drive 40 miles to them thinking I will have a room to sleep in but instead I ended up having to sleep in my truck in below freezing weather. It was Either that or continue to risk my life and drive another 40 miles north to the nearest town in the middle of the night in a blizzard!!!

Management is a joke!

It looks a little worn. Staff is friendly. Breakfast was great. Room was clean. Bedding and towels good. Right on the highway. Nice little cafe next door. Internet went out, but manager reset it and it worked fine.

Quiet area

This place is very nice. I brought my lil puppy with me an it was a 10.00 fee. We paid $72.00 total and was very nice. Bed comfortable AC was great there were absolutely no issues there. I love the soap and shampoo dispenser on the walls and in the shower. We going to give them a super thumbs up for that one. The counter guy was really nice so you can’t beat it. Thanks Belleville.. we will be back soon my husband is a truckers thanks
