The decorating was dated.  But who cares?  The price was very reasonable, the room and sheets were very clean, and it had a nice TV that I watched an NBA game on.  And the people running it were very friendly.  If you are looking for a posh stay, this isn't it, but I kind of liked the retro feel!

Good, clean, reasonable price!

If “newness” is not a criteria for your hotel stay, this is a good deal. Price was great, clean, comfortable, and (as others have said) everything worked. Hot shower, king size bed. Did not eat continental breakfast here so cannot comment on that.

Great deal for overnight stay passing through

Clean and completely adequate. Some minor repairs needed (ex. our screen door closer was broken.) Vintage drive up to your room motel. Microwave, fridge, wifi. When we stayed in June 2022, the pool had been out of service since COVID, even though they still advertised online & in signage that they have a pool, so don't go for the pool. Breakfast was 2 kinds of cereal, juice, and coffee, which was fine with us. Nice feature: sink in good-sized enclosed room with bench, then another enclosed room on through that with toilet & tub.

Clean! Pool long-term out of service

This was an excellent place to grab some good sleep as we traveled to Denver. The room was clean, spacious and the bed was comfortable. The hotel has a quaint, old fashioned appearance from the road that I liked - The room appearance is a bit dated but very adequate.  The area was quiet, no traffic noise. Great place to stop!

Comfortable and clean

We stayed at the Hillcrest Motel on a trip to Colorado Springs.  This motel is a bargain; it's an old fashioned place where you fill out the card to check in.  The rooms are outdated, but they are clean, which is more important to me than being modern.  There's a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and large flat screen TV.  There is a small continental breakfast in the office, which was two kinds of cereal and a small cinnamon roll, which was fine for us.  We would stay here again if in the area.

A real bargain

The room is clean and big enough for all my gear.  they allow dogs which works for me.  I did not hear the highway which is common for a lot of the motels vs hotels.  This was a value stay and everything worked in the rooms. Would stay here again.

Pheasant Hunting Stop

If you are expecting a Hilton experience, you will be disappointed. However, this is a very affordable stop, with cable TV and an outdoor pool. It wouldn't hurt if they updated their rooms, or at least did a decent paint job.

We found the room to be outdated but clean.  The shower was very small so if you were a larger person you would not fit.  The tv and air conditioner worked great.  It was very quiet in our room #24. We found the location to be very safe. Overall a good value for your money.  

Late night stop

My husband and I had been driving for well over 10 hours, and had already passed many little towns with roadside motels/vacancies.  However, we are fussy, and other locations/towns were charmless.  We like charm, and we really liked the feeling in Norton.  The Hillcrest Motel was clean, the bed was comfy, the TV was fine,  and the grounds had charm despite the fact that rooms fronted on parking lot.   The manager was extremely kind and welcoming, and gave us a recommendation for dinner and also provided a hair dryer for me, as the one in our room was missing.  Also, Shopko is right across the street, and we were able to buy everything we needed (clothes, shoes, snack food) to replace all we had forgotten to bring.  EXCELLENT!   We would absolutely stay at this motel again.  Having the pool and park right there makes it an excellent stop for families.

Excellent value motel for weary travelers!

Their was no window on the front door tv didnt work beds had oil stains all over the bathroom would not have taken a shower in, did not feel safe at all. I  got my money back and went down the street to Brooks Motel and was very happy.
