I have a room with 2 queen beds, TV, microwave oven and a small refrigerator. My room is clean and well stocked with clean towels for 1 person. They are having trouble with the Wi-Fi and told me that they have requested a service call for that. The price is low and the staff is very polite and friendly. That is all I expect from any lodging. I locked myself out of my room well before the lobby opened and I was lucky to catch one of their staff coming in to work (I did not know he worked there.)

I approached him out of desperation as I was to start a new job that morning and was still in the clothes that I slept in. He was quick to help out. We went straight to my room and he opened the door for me. THANK YOU!!!

I see a lot of unfairly harsh reviews here. The Best Budget Inn is a very low cost place to stay. You do not stay in a 5 star Hotel for what they are charging you. If you book a stay at a low cost place, your expectations should be DIRECTLY proportionate to how much you are paying per night. If you do not agree, you are unrealistic and nee to stop being such a cheapskate. If you want top amenities, PAY FOR THEM!

I got a nice room at a good price.

Calling this place a dump would be a disservice to dumps. The paint is peeling off the walls, spiders and ants in the rooms, broken tiles, the entrance door doesn't close well, the TV remote doesn't work, cigarette butts under the bed and table. Nobody at the front desk at 530 am and the office door is locked saying to call a number. Oh and the pool in the picture is filled in with gravel. This place is a disgusting dump in every way possible. If you book it after these same reviews you deserve it for being cheap! If I could give less than a 1 I would. This is a perfect place to bring a prostitute.

Dirty Old and Disgusting

Hotel did not hold our room that was booked through the website.  We ended up getting a room with two double beds instead of a king.  Pool was filled with gravel.  Paint/wallpaper was bubbling off the wall.

   Find all entrances to lobby closed with signs saying lobby closed use other entrances at 5 am.

It is what it is, a cheap hotel. Worth the money if you can look past the no frills. I would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

Ok room at fair price

If you love water damage, hotels with weird smells, hallways with graffiti, and king beds with a variety of different stains this hotel is for you. The staff was friendly but everything else was just terrible. The furniture was damaged and some was being eaten away by water damage. Would not recommend.

Worst hotel experience ever.

Filthy, there was mold coming down the walls.  Mold around the sink.  Paper on walls was bubbling off.  Evidence of water damage.  Website showed a pool however the pool was full of gravel.  Bugs came up the drain when you turned on the water.  There was a Jacuzzi in our room however it didn't work.  The lights above the Jacuzzi had one without even a light bulb in it.  The only good thing about this place was the 2 ladies running it were very nice.

Anniversary trip

Well. There is no pool, don't be fooled by the picture. It is filled with rocks, They didn't even take the ladders out. The fence around the pool is broken. So...all we were looking for is a cheap room to stay in before we went to Cedar Point. That is what we got. The room was clean enough. No bed bugs (I checked). The AC worked and so did the TV. That's about all I could hope for. There were no mosquitoes or muckelheads (local flying bug from the lake) in the room, which has happened to us before in other rooms in the area. 
There WERE people smoking pot in the room next to us. There were some swear words carved into some of the doors. I am glad we didn't have our children with us. Probably will not stay here again. 
SO...if you're looking for a clean-ish, cheap bed for the night, this is your place. If you're looking for a nice place to being your family, keep looking.

The beds were very uncomfortable. The night stand was dirty with something sticky on it. The fan did not work in bathroom and every time we took showers the bathroom would get saturated with mositure from the steam & made the room very wet and the floor was like a sheet of ice and my husband almost fell. No shampoo in room. No extras like hair dryer, microwave or refrigerator. Still advertising pool but it is filled with gravel. My son paid the same price in a room down the road, we will stay there next time before we stay here. Sorry never give a bad review, just very disappointed and will not recommend.
