Staff was very polite and friendly. Rooms could have been a little clean but beat and tidy. They are working to improve the place. There is new carpet, some new paint, some new furniture. Plus thing was that it's definitely insect free. Not at all bad, especially considering the price. I would stay again.

Good stay

I lived here for a company visit.I found room, mattress were neat and clean. It is worth to stay at this expense. You can't expect five star facilities at this rate. Owners are very cooperative, genuine and helpful.

Comfortable Rooms

We live near here and let me say this motel is not what people want. Most of what goes there is cheap hook ups and long term apartment type living. It's old and run down. I ha e personally never been inside but just looking at it makes my skin crawl. I have seen open doors and peaked in and wasn't impressed. Needs updated and complete restore. 

Scary, sketchy, dirty, long term love ins

Very rudimentary room.  Small shower, bed with thin mattress.  The phone had a Charlotte, North Carolina address on the phone and monogramed towels which did not match the motel, indicating a lot of things were purchased elsewhere, probably motels that closed.  There was a microwave and a small refrigerator in the room.  It appeared that a lot of people who stayed there were long-term residents.  I waited until I got through Huntington to find a place to stay because of Huntington's reputation.  This was the only motel I saw in Kenova.  If I had to do it over again, I would have waited for better digs.  The price was reasonable, indicating that you get what you paid for.  The phone did not work in the room properly, and we could not call the front desk to ask for the internet code.  This place is only for the most budget minded who are just finding a spartan place to sleep.  There is a Burger King across the road.  We did ask for an inexpensive room, maybe there are better rooms there.

Not Hollywood

First mistake was not booking online because I got charged $60 for this. I was too tired to argue with that price vs. the $45 online. Should have. This was the most shady place I've ever stayed. Floor was dirty and room was small. All appliances were old and dated. Lots of questionable 'DIY' fixes for the place. Smelled weird. Door had a rusty chain lock in lieu of deadbolt. Light in the room didn't work and the a/c was very dusty. The only pros was the water pressure was good and we woke up alive and well the next day. Don't stay here unless you're desperate and definitely book online if you are.

Don't stay here unless you have to

This place is definitely not for families or vacationers...this place is more of extended stay or live-in motel.  You definitely are going to get what you pay for.  The owners are very nice and if you work in an industry where per diem is part of it...this place isn't bad.  I do have to say that they have the fastest internet of any place I have ever stayed.
