We had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay at Riverside B&B. The home is just like stepping back in time to a true southern mansion. It is beautiful both inside amd outside and spotlessly clean. The bed was so comfortable and the updated bathrooms and showers make it very relaxing.  Perfect place for our trips to the Ark and the Creation Museum. The breakfasts were delicious and very filling from the biscuits and gravy to the french toast that kept you full all day until the sweet treat of the evening! We hope to return soon for more R&R!

R&R at Riverside B&B

My mom and I came here for a relaxing getaway.  The place is nice, but the pictures online make it look soo much prettier!!  I don’t know how it got rated one of the top 10 romantic B&B’s in the World honestly.  We were disappointed in the inn, but we still enjoyed our time together.  The Inn isn’t as “old/vintage” as we’re use too.  It looks like a nice old house, and it is for sure.  But the decorations lack the era.  It was pretty decorated for Christmas.   I think the breakfast we received was powdered eggs- not real eggs.  The French toast seemed like it was frozen to me.  The coffee was most definitely not Gourmet like they said.  Also, we did not receive the pastries and fruit that were supposed to come with the meal.   This place has the potential to be gorgeous if it was decorated better, and if they would make their bathrooms more “antique” like.  The bathrooms are modern.   The inn keeper was very nice, no issues with her at all!  My mom and I had a great time, and made priceless memories together.  I’m thankful that we were able to go and spend time together.  It just wasn’t what we expected from having looked at the pictures online.

Beautiful, clean and quiet inn. It was a relaxing overnight and plan to go again!  Inn keeper was friendly and attentive. You can tell she takes great pride and care of her inn.  Met some great couples as well!  If you are looking for a beautiful place this is it!

Wonderful stay at Riverside.

Very beautiful place!  It was exceptionally decorated for the holidays and absolutely gorgeous.  The rooms and beds/linens/pillows were very comfy.  The inn has so much character we wished we could have stayed longer.  Mandy and her team did a great job accommodating our group and set us up with a murder mystery dinner which was a blast.  Delicious food and hospitality.  We will definitely go back again!

Wonderful place to visit!

This place is absolutely beautiful and  quiet and serene. You can enjoy a firepit, have time on the swings by the Ohio , play pool or read a book. Staff is very pleasant,  especially Bev who I invited to join us with coffee to learn more about the history of the grounds and home. Breakfast is great!  If you get a chance to visit Riverside Inn, please do. I will be back for a girl trip.

Great Trip at the Riverside Inn

My husband and I love this place!  Always enjoy the ambiance, location on thebriver, hospitality and food.  Bev made up a cheese tray for wine when we arrived.  Then our brunch the next morning was wonderful!  We were in Tulip room upstairs overlooking the river.  Very clean and beautiful. 

Serenity on the River

The bed was very comfortable.  We loved the view of the river and the feel of the 1800's old charm feel and history of the Inn. The breakfast was home cooked awesome. The river was so clear you could see the fish come up to the dock. The gazebo is screened and equipped to cook and eat.

Restful Getaway

The Riverside Inn B & B is an outstanding place to stay.  We rented the entire house for a retirement / birthday retreat!  Every detail was taken care of.  The staff was efficient and friendly.  The breakfast was amazing!!  We are talking about making this an annual event!!

Amazing place for our couples retreat!

This is the best bed and breakfast we’ve ever been to. Beautiful rooms, fluffy pillows, comfy bed. I loved the option for robes and slippers. Breakfast each morning was delish! Inn keepers are super friendly and accommodating. Grounds are gorgeous. We got some add on packages (fresh cut flowers, chocolate covered strawberries and love balloons also truffles and a fruit, cheese, and cracker tray). It was romantic coming to our room and having the food already there. It tasted great. The flowers were beautiful and balloons were cute. Peaceful surroundings. We liked the swing out by the river. We will definitely be back one day. Love love love this place!!! We stayed one night in the tulip room and one night in the chestnut room.

Beautiful Bed & Breakfast—Room was so pretty, comfortable & clean.  Breakfast was  delicious, you will not leave the table hungry.  The view is absolutely breathtaking.  Such a friendly, sweet family.   A wonderful getaway if your looking for a quiet beautiful place.
