We stayed in 701 and it was perfect! Clean condo, well stocked kitchen, large bedrooms with nice linens. Year round pool and hot tub with fantastic views of Baldy. The shuttle stop right outside or you can walk to River Run in about 10 minutes. Easy walk to restaurants in Ketchum as well.  We’ll be back!

Location location!

We booked this condo on short notice because we had to check out of another condo which was unacceptable.  We contacted Alpine Lodging and they found us this unit, 611AB which was booked in my partners name.  We stayed 5 nights, and the rate was about $250 per night, so it wasn't cheap.  Upon entering the unit, we noticed a "chemical" smell.  At first we thought it was because of the cleaning, but the odor never dissipated during our 5 nights.  We were told by on of the cleaning people that the odor has always been there, but Alpine Lodging denied it.  But the custodian who we called to the rooms also smelled it.  It was quite unpleasant and we were concerned about our health so we kept the windows and doors open.  We spoke to Alpine but all they did was send a cleaning person over with some deodorant spray.  The other problem was the filthy carpet: it has numerous dark stains everywhere: in the hall, in the living areas and in the two bedrooms.  The odor and the dirty carpeting gave us the creeps.  But we had no where to go, so we stuck it out.  I asked Alpine for a partial refund which would have softened the experience because it was not an inexpensive unit, but they wouldn't give us a single dime!  Barbara at Alpine was very helpful in finding the unit when we needed a place on short stay, but she had another unit available, and we believe she should have known about the odor in the unit she put us in and steered us to the other unit.  She didn't, and so I fault Alpine for that and for refusing to give us some refund.    Bottom line: avoid this unit unless they clean up the carpeting and eliminate the odor.

Smelly, Dirty, and Over priced Accommodation

Lovely & very comfortable condo within easy walking distance to downtown Ketchum.  All kitchen appliances and comfy king-sized bed.  Rented for several days thru Alpine Lodging in Ketchum.  Minor drawback (not to us) was the very personal decor of the family who clearly owned the condo.

These condos are privately owned and the individuals rent them out via websites such as Vacasa.com.  We stayed in the one referred to as The Maven. It was a 2 bedroom, 2 bath with a fully stocked kitchen and modern furnishings. The beds were very comfortable as was the living area. The multi-floor complex offers free underground parking which keeps the snow and ice off of your car. We spent the week after Christmas here for a family vacation. There is a medium size heated hot tub and heated pool, both outside. We walked from the condo a few times to go downtown, I would estimate it to be about 10 blocks or so, and a convenient market for your groceries even closer than that. The River Run Lodge at the Sun Valley Ski Resort is only about 3/4 of a mile away from the condo, we walked to the lodge one evening for cocktails and to listen to live music.

Comfortable and Walking Distance to Downtown Ketchum

Great place except that there was no air conditioning in the units and it was 100 degrees outside! On top of that the window didn't fully open, so we spend the next three days with the doors wide open, letting in the bugs, and a small box fan we found in the closet to keep somewhat cool!!!

Almost all rooms had split kings, which is a rarity at ski resorts.  Our ski club of mostly singles prizes any condos which accommodate our singles.  Christophe was also walking distance to the resort and the local restaurants and night life. Condos were well maintained, comfortable and very nice for the price--not luxury but great mid-range value.  Nice sized hot tub for apres soaks.  Much better location than Sun Valley Resort where you have to take a shuttle or taxi to go anywhere.  I'll take Christophe anytime.  Absolutely awesome customer service in this town - lift operators actually walked out of their way to carry my skis to the gondolas.  The shuttles will alter their course or stop at non-stops just to accommodate our needs.  One shuttle actually stopped and asked if I needed a lift while on the road.
