Great price for a no frills motel!  All we needed was a clean room, bed and shower. This room also came with tv, fridge and microwave which we did not need or use.  Very friendly staff.  Will definitely stay here again!

Very  reasonable priced motel!

Overall, not bad at all.  The room I stayed in was clean, as was the bedding.  The room is very dated, and appears as if it has not been updated since 1980.  It is full of dings, cracks, and other forms of wear.   If you’re a big one on aesthetics, you might want to stay in Moline or Peoria.  But if you’re just in town for a day or three, this is a good place to stay.  The staff was very nice and courteous.  Right next door to a diner... walk to breakfast.

Rented a room online and requested for 12am-1am as we were coming in town late! Got back online and they had made it for 2pm. Called the motel and was trying to explain and he was hateful. He said if we didn’t show up he would still charge the card and don’t bother him again and hung up! Luckily booking.com wouldn’t allow the charge!

Visiting

WOW oversize bath towels, clean rooms, pet friendly.
Came to Kewanee to buy a house.  Found one after looking at several.  We stayed here for just over a week.

We really enjoyed staying at the Kewanee Motor Lodge.

I was hearing bad things about this motel, but after staying there it was a nice place.

Nothing fancy.  Just a plain motel.  But the gentleman that ran it was great.  Always asking if we needed anything.  Always having fresh coffee ready in the morning.

And Great Prices too.....

What a great staff

The motel is probably 40 years old and still has the same style and architecture from 1977.  With that being said, the manager has kept it clean and provided the expected amenities: in-room fridge, microwave, large flat screen TV, hairdryer, cable, WiFi, etc.

It could definitely use a makeover, however, if you are looking for a decent place to sleep in between trips to visit relatives, this is your place.  Most of the time you will see quite a few trucks in the parking lot, since this is the hotel mostly used by the crews that come into town to work on the windmills.

The manager is friendly, the location is right in the middle of town and there's plenty of parking.  I've stayed here at least twice a year over the past 5 years and have no complaints.  If you are looking for a place to hang in the pool and have a drink at the bar, this is not the place for you.  If you are looking for a place to crash for the night and then want to get on with your day; this place will work great!

Good Bargain

The owner Ken is a real good guy. Very helpful. Rooms are perfect with a fridge and micro. Going back again soon. Great weekly  rates! Plenty of stores close by too! The Barn House is next door. DQ across the street.
