Excellent location in terms of walking to beach and restaurants and shops. Very comfortable apartment. We had a ground floor unit and so had a little patio with a lawn and garden view - much more than just a balcony, so it was quite pleasant. Easy check-in and check-out. Quiet.

Quite comfortable and met all expectations.

First, let me say that overall, Maui Vista Condos are actually in a great location and if you get a good property owner, go for it. 

However, avoid booking "Wonderful Maui Vista-Kihei Kai Nani Beach Condos" through booking.com or any other site for that matter at all costs. I had a terrible experience in Unit 1123. 

The facilities were not AT ALL as shown in the listing photos. Kitchen was dated whereas all the photos showed modern updated appliances. The promised garden view was a parking lot view, pool was about 25 ft in diameter, not the one as shown in listing , curtains were torn, and  I said hello to at least 2 cockroaches in the kitchen every morning. By plugging in my phone charger, the outlet sparked and ripped the breakers. As far as safety, there was a holder for a smoke alarm in the bedroom but no alarm.  In addition, we could not use the fan in the bedroom because the battery was missing in the remote.

We expected a MUCH nicer place than what we got for more than $400/night. Also, be really careful with the reviews. It appears that the owner bribes people who give low ratings to change to higher ratings.

After I posted my review on booking.com I got this message from the owner via the unit's manager, "the owner let me know that you let a review with 5/10. He's asking that you will change it and if you must review the pool do so on TripAdvisor (I think he meant booking.com). He will send you $100 gift". Of course I said no. And I changed my rating to 4.  He then followed up in his comments that I am just disgruntled because I wanted a bigger "gift" aka bribe. You can read his response but know that he is lying by saying all the reviews are true. Well, I guess at least one is.

Avoid using booking Maui Vista through "Wonderful Maui Vista-Kihei Kai Nani Beach Condos"

We stayed in room 2210. It was very well equipped. It had beach chairs, mats, umbrella, and even coolers for our use. Everything was super clean and the kitchen was well stock. Location was the best with beaches across the street, plenty of restaurants and shopping all within walking distance. I loved our stay here, and the beautiful grounds.

A great experience!

We really enjoyed our stay at Maui Vista!  The grounds and gardens were so calm, quiet and beautiful, with the calls of birds echoing throughout and the palms blowing in the breeze.  The flowers were bright, plentiful  and the grounds well maintained.  Great BBQ area, easily accessible.  The pool was small but plenty of room everytime we were there.  Cool and refreshing! Nice shady table and lots of lounges.

We stayed in a garden unit which was lovely because we could sit out on the patio and eat.  Also made it easy to step out to the pool for a swim.  The unit was dated but pleasant enough considering we didn't spend much time there.  Well stocked kitchen with everything you would need.  (lacking a few spoons but lots of forks)  Everything was clean and well maintained except the floors were dirty.  The main problem we had was with the shower, which had minimal pressure and the tub backed up every time we had a shower.  This was annoying when trying to wash off sunscreen and sand after a day at the beach.

Overall, we were very happy in our unit.  It was comfortable and accessible.  They provided beach chairs, cooler and umbrella which was super helpful!   The beach is literally a short walk through the garden and across the street.  Great for sunsets. Kihei was a central location for us to explore the island.  We liked the gritty, bustling feel of Kihei with lots going on, shopping, restaurants, cafes.  We enjoyed walking to the Oasis Gardens for coffee at Da Green Cafe - a short walk in the morning for some great java!!

The Apartment (Unit #1313) is very well appointed, the view is great (particularly the spectacular sunsets), and it is located just a few meters from the beach. 
The apartment was clean, and we got enough supplies for our week-long stay. The only negative point I can find is the air condition in the bedroom that seems to more heat the room, than cool it.
We loved it there and would definitely return.

The place is convenient and grounds are kept clean, however waiting for an elevator takes forever at times. Often the pool areas were packed with too many people to enjoy much less find an open chair and table. Very upsetting!
Our villa was very nice, privately owned. Very clean and fully equipped.
The buildings could use some signage because it’s difficult to locate your room when first arriving in the pitch dark.

3308 is located on a beautiful property in Kihei. The 3rd building is quiet and the view is great. We stayed here just a week prior to a long stay in another complex.  This condo needs a lot of attention and upgrading. We had a door code from the owner which did not work and we had to phone him to remedy the situation (this was at midnight, after a long travel day).  The lanai was stained and the furniture old and dirty. The pictures showed a lovely dining table and two chairs on the lanai . This was not the case. The carpet in the condo needs a cleaning. The shower curtain needed to be replaced, the hall closet door was off the track and we lacked basics like a toaster, wine glasses, vegetable peeler. The kitchen and bathroom could use upgrades. We paid a lot to stay here and it was not worth it.     We sent the owner a short note mentioning a few things and he never responded.  I’ve communicated, since returning home, but he’s never gotten back to me. We stayed a week - we’d return to the Maui Vista, but never to this condo.

There are units that are in fact updated, i was in a group were some of us got the worse units in the building. The manager lied and lied, air mattress?  garbage. First time visiting Maui terrible experience!! yes I tried to get accommodated I was lied to, Never again....that was unit 1223!!!! manager Marjorie Bernardo. Worst stay ever!!!

Maui Vista Unit #3115 it is older and needs updates but is clean and well equipped.  We will never return to this unit as the bed was VERY uncomfortable, it felt like we were sleeping on the box spring. I am not exaggerating!  We are not plush bed people, but this did not even have a layer of memory foam or pillow top.  It was HARD.  The pillows that were provided were two FLAT pillows and two incredibly thick, hard pillows. We were so sore, I even tried to sleep on the two flat pillows on the bed the second night which didn't help, and we went out and bought our own pillows.  Our necks, backs, hips, ribs and shoulders were falling asleep, turning over to try to get comfortable was constant and we were sore every morning.  Having a bad sleep on a great vacation is not worth any price. They need to update this mattress so guests are comfortable.  The dryer has a sticker that guests are to throw in a load of laundry when they leave, however, I think that is what made the aqua towels smell horrible, someone has left the towels wet for far too long and they had that towel funk smell.  We ended up using the thin beach towels to shower. The shower tiles have been upgraded which are nice, but then they throw on a dark shower curtain so being in the shower is very dark. It would have been better if they would have went the extra mile with a glass shower door when they renovated.  You can see that they upgraded the countertops and the white appliances which are clean, but they left the old cupboards. The drawers in the kitchen stick, but they were well equipped in the kitchen with everything we needed.  The BBQ is close by the unit which was very handy.  We washed and folded up the front door, kitchen and bathroom vanity throw rugs on the first day as they were annoying and a tripping hazard.  The bedroom carpet is old and dirty but the rest of the condo is clean.  The mismatched set of hangers needs to be replaced and offer a good set of 20 matching hangers.  These little details do matter...would a hotel ever have a mismatch of hangers?  Even though this unit might fall within your budget, unless they replace that mattress, do not stay here!

Maui Vista Unit #3115

This unit needs some TLC. The furniture is dinged up, top of the table on LanI is popped and warped. No comfy outdoor chairs in lanai. Only good seating in the living room was the couch, a mismatched armless boudoir chair was only other seating, needs a real armchair. AC unit needs cleaning, musty smell blowing out and leaks onto the lanai floor. Bathroom toilet needed to be fixed during our stay. Needs a regular, pulsating shower head, the big round rain forest head  was not high enough and had weak flow. Bed was very comfy, no AC in bedroom but if you turned the living room one on high and left the door open the room cooled down. Kitchen is thd best part of the unit. Big island counter, good dishwasher,  fridge did not have an ice maker, trays for cubes. Toaster very cheap, did not toast evenly, The drip coffee pot also a bargin unit, but found a single serve pod unit in the upper cupboard that was OK. 

Best part of this unit was its location. Across the street from a great sandy beach with enough  low surf to boogie board. The pools and gardens were nice and the Barbeque areas very nice with excellent barbeques.   Close enough to walk to mini market and restaurants.
