We stayed at this inn for our first experience of an out-of-state vacation We arrived in the middle of a snow storm with a front wheel drive SUV, having forgotten our snow jackets. Not only was the owner bill able to get our car up to the inn from the road and park it, but we were welcomed in right away. Mary and several other people immediately gave us many helpful suggestions to fix our jacket issue. We got the information on exactly where to go, how to get there, and who to talk to.  Mary is so lovely, she followed up with us at breakfast. Her and bill are wonderfully hospitable and knowledgeable. 

Couples will absolutely LOVE the rooms.  They are clean, beautiful, and unique. We loved the jet tub and fireplace in our room. We had Sunday dinner and breakfast everyday of our stay. All the food was amazing and served so beautifully.  I have already recommended the inn to my mother and aunt. The whole inn is kept very well, the design and decorations really make you feel cozy and totally relaxed. We originally planned out vaccination with just prioritizing  snowboarding but we were both blown away by the experience of staying at the inn.

Perfect for relaxing stay and getting on the mountain

We came for 5 days with our kids and were taking 4 rooms. Innkeepers, Bill and Mary were super welcoming . You feel like home and everything was super clean and comfortable. Location is great, breakfast delicious and restaurant have a great menu. At night you can seat next to the fire place at the hotel lounge  and enjoy  your company.

Amazing experience .

We enjoyed our stay at the Birch Ridge Inn. Mary and Bill were very nice. The stay was in between seasons so it was very quiet. Mary cooked us a delicious breakfast each day. We loved our room! Wonderful fall vistas everywhere we looked. Being on the mountain was a great experience.

We just stayed overnight on our way north, but were pleasantly surprised at how nice the inn was. Our room and bathroom was comfortable and very clean. We had already had dinner on the way so we had drinks and dessert when we arrived.  Both were delicious. We left before breakfast the next morning but Mary made sure that we had coffee and juice and baked goods to go. Wonderful place that we would love to stay at again.

We were so happy to have found this wonderful inn, this delicious breakfast :), this charming quiet room, the best restaurant food on our trip, and a most welcoming staff, esp. the owners, Mary and Bill. 
The only sad part was that we could not stay longer.

Such a great experience!!

This lodge is in perfect condition, luxuriously renovated and furnished, medium-small, homey, and quiet.  The innkeepers, Mary and Bill, converted the lodge approx. 25 years ago and operate it with great care and affection.  Breakfast was homemade by Mary and served by Mary, and utterly delicious.  The restaurant and bar were attended by them, a server, and a chef, and the food, wine, and desserts were fantastic.  The room was ultra-comfortable, with a very effective portable air conditioner.  Mary and Bill were very knowledgeable about all the questions that we asked about the surrounding area.  This was our dream lodging, and we can't wait to return!

Not air conditioning, not coffee in the room and out the room.
Restaurant very pricey, and the food far from be good.
There is nothing around the property however Bill and Mary are very nice and warm people.

Very disappointed.

If you are planning to visit during the summer, you must take in consideration the following; there was no air conditioning in the rooms! There is no view, you can not make a coffee or tea in the rooms, there is no one in the reception to ask for tea or coffee, there is no place to sit outside, the pictures and the description are not telling the real truth. In breakfast there is no second option, so if you can not eat sugar or curbs you don’t have something to eat. The restaurant is so so expensive and the fish that I ate was  fishy with blood and not fresh. When we read the restaurant recommendations, we thought it is a good restaurant, well, we were so wrong! Be carful what you are ordering, it is over over pricy relatively to what you get.

Don’t go there!

The Birch Ridge Inn in Killington, VT is now a favorite of mine for a relaxing respite prior to a day on the mountain. Innkeepers Mary and Bill are gracious and accommodating with regard to interacting with guests and ensuring that the well-appointed rooms are kept neat and tidy. Mary's homemade breakfasts are to-die-for and prepare the well-rested skier for some challenging Spring skiing. Look no further for a first-rate B&B featuring impeccable accommodations.

The Birch Ridge Inn was beyond perfect for a trip to Killington. The owners/hosts, Bill and Mary, go above and beyond to make sure every guest feels welcome and that everything is taken care of. The place is so cozy and is even enjoyable during COVID times. I am vegan, and Mary made me special breakfasts each morning and the chef made delicious vegan meals for me for dinner, as well. I was sooo grateful for this! The room we stayed in was very clean and comfortable with ample room to put ski things after a day on the mountain. There are no pictures of the bathrooms and I forgot to get one for the review, but no need to worry about this! We had Room 2 and our bathroom was so clean with fresh tiles and was all updated. It had a large bathroom countertop with area for two people getting ready, and a large walk-in shower with a seat in it. We also had a more modern looking room than some in the pictures. There was a flat screen television and a couch in the room, as well. We felt like we were at home walking into the Birch Ridge Inn every day after skiing with warm greetings and conversation all around. Bill and Mary were so amazing to us and other guests. We can't wait to go back to the Birch Ridge Inn - they have our sole business for staying in Killington!  Thank you for an excellent stay, Bill and Mary!
