Just right if you ski and want a room + full kitchen, working fireplace, quiet and relaxing experience.
 
Don't go thru Booking.com! Your reservation with them will NOT get you a room at Trail Creek. Beware. Vacasa is an off-site management company and their "local" number circles back to the off-site one. There is no staff on-site. 

There is no shuttle to the mountain for Trail Creek, at least not when we were there. But you can ski home from the mountain. And parking is free.

You check in Via the Grand Hotel but they aren't managing the Trail Creek property so they really don't give you any direction.
Luckily I bumped into a maintenance person who told me the best place to park, where the trash was etc. Because of there not being a Condo office or administration it's not a traditional timeshare situation, there are no activities, movie theater etc. Kind of a bummer with 2 kids and 4 days of rain. Additionally there is nowhere to get extra supplies (paper towels, dish detergent etc.). Even though you check in at the hotel they really don't have anything to do with the condos and you cannot use any of their facilities.

Twice the path to our unit washed out resulting in flooding in front of our door (I'm talking up to the threshold). As you can see they did bring in sump pumps quickly but a thin muddy sludge was left making it quite slippery the rest of the week. 
Really no one's fault just an unfortunate situation.

We visited in December 2022 and stayed in Unit 26. It was located in the back of the property on the bottom floor. The ski-home trail leads directly to this unit. It butts directly up to the woods and creek. It has a small back yard, perfect for kids to play in the snow.

Be sure to use the handy cart to move your luggage. Its located on the path and works great in the snow. 

Plenty of firewood on property, but you will need kindling or firestarters. 

Ski bus picks you up directly in the front of the property. I would not recommend trying to walk to the lifts next door with full gear. 

The location is the best attribute to this property as is literally the closest property to the Killington Ski Resort. It is close to everything, however you will need a vehicle to get around.

Comfortable in a great location

Stayed at Trail Creek 2 bedroom condos near  the killington grand hotel   
Our condo was smelly, outdated, and appeared to not have been cleaned or updated since the 70’s. Full of dirty bedding, leaks from the ceiling, and smelled stale and old. 
I got to look at the Grand hotel and I recommend going there for a great stay and avoid trail creek if you can. Not worth what I paid. 

Dilapidated shacks

We accompanied our daughter and her family for a Ski trip. 
Great accommodations, nicely decorated, very cozy. Nice wood burning fireplace. Walking distance to the slopes. Quite a few stores and restaurants near by. Nice pool and sauna. 
Kitchen had everything we needed. Plus, dishwasher, washer and dryer. The sofa was great as a sofa but I would recommend to bring a blow up mattress if you need the extra bed. (That’s everywhere though not just there 😊) 

Very Impressive 

got tired of paying top dollar for a hotel room and tried the condo. It was great. I was able to walk to the snowshed lift with no problem. you ski back to the condo on a private trail.
was a one bedroom  with a good size living room with 2 pull out couches e a full kitchen plus a great fireplace (wood available at the place for free). Gave 4 stars because parking was a little tough and i ran out of hot water one night. but I will go back.

ski weekend

This was our first trip to Vermont. Our main objective was hiking in the Green Mountains & visiting some of the nearby towns. Trail Creek was close to everything. The resort staff recommended several hikes close to the resort with various levels of difficulty. Each trail offered something different. It would be tough to pick my favorite.We will definitely be returning to visit in other seasons.

Perfect Location

Just this past weekend is the 3rd or 4th time I've stayed in the the Trail Creek Condos. The access is super convenient to Snowshed & K1. We had a 2 bedroom that had ample room for 4 guests in beds and a pullout couch for another 2 if we had  needed it. Two full bathrooms as well. The kitchen was amply stocked w/ the necessary utensils for cooking and the unit had a wood burning fireplace which I believe is standard in all units. Cozy, warm - great weekend!

Convenient & Comfortable

I don't have a single complaint about our stay at Trail Creek. Everything worked, check in and out was a breeze, and it was clean. It is about a 1/2 mile walk to the lifts. If you just put one foot in front of the other you will get there. I would give it five stars but I don't want to deceive you into believing this is a five star facility.

Excellent stay at Trail Creek for 4 days of skiing

I liked the location of these condos. We had to walk a little ((8 minutes) or take the shuttle to go to the slopes. However, we could ski straight back to our condo. We had unit #38. We had a locked room with a large bed that was unfortunately not very comfortable. We had a small TV in the room. The bathroom was small, although functional, in which we had access to the washing machine and dryer. The kitchen had a kitchen with oven, a standard-sized refrigerator, a microwave, a coffee shop and a loaf. The dining room table was a large room for six to seven people. The bathroom was quite spacious, because there were two floors in the middle of the room, and we thought there would be a spacious living room, a spa, a spa, and a spa.
