The room was spacious and clean, but upon opening the door, we were overtaken by the smell of weed and mildew. It was fairly gross. But after bathing, we made it smell better. Overall, it was a comfortable stay.

Staff was very friendly and atentativ to our needs. When my key card would not work front desk noticed my issue on camera and delivered a new card before I could even head their direction. We really enjoyed our stay.

Weekend Trip

I was traveling through Kingsville, TX. for work and I found myself at the Super 8 and I am so glad I did. I have stayed at a dozen or so Super 8s in my life and have always been generally satisfied. But Kingsville has the nicest Super 8 I have ever had the pleasure of staying.

First of all, I walked in and saw a clean and spacious lobby adjacent to where they serve their continental breakfast. The gentleman behind the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. He got us checked in right away and answered all our questions.

I walked in to my room and was floored by just how clean the room looked and smelt. It looked like the room may have been recently remodeled and they nailed it. The room looked as good as the room felt welcoming. The room also included a refrigerator and microwave which are always appreciated.

There is a nice outdoor pool which is almost a necessity for spring sand summers in Texas. Another cool bonus, there is a bbq/ burger joint right next door that I can't wait to check out tomorrow. There was a menu in the lobby of the hotel and everything sounded delicious.

I saw a few negative reviews, but they go a ways back. The management  has clearly put some work in to this place. Don't know when I will next find myself in Kingsville, TX. But when I do, I know exactly where I will be staying. Thank you, Super 8.

"Super 8 Is Great!"

Friendly staff and service will be back again . Property was nice and clean. When I checked in because my room was a smoking room . The receptionist asked if I would like to switch rooms because that room had smelled like heavy smoke. So I asked him to go ahead a switch my room if it was possible. Which he did. I’m great full for the suggestion of switching rooms

Stay

Very nice and clean motel.  I was surprised that this was as nice as it was for a budget motel.  Clean rooms.  Friendly front desk staff. Convienent to all of Kingsville Texas. Laundry onsite and another just down the road. Breakfast available daily.  I would highly recommend this motel to all travelers.

Nice budget motel in Kingsville Texas

Booked room online. Traveling for a funeral of close friend. Stayed 2 nights. Motel is pet friendly without carpeting in room. Requested and got handicap accessible room. Clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. Only charged $5 per night for our dog.

Recommend

Just right off of Highway 77, Super 8 was the hotel I chose to stay. Staff was great, very professional and remarkable. Rooms were clean, thank you to the housekeeping staff. Overall experience was just outstanding. They also had grab n go breakfast bags in the morning, which contained a pastry, granola bar, a fruit, and a yogurt along with a water bottle.

Outstanding Stay

This hotel has by far been the best experience I have had. From the front desk staff to housekeeping to manager just the overall experience. They make you feel so welcomed and very warming. Thank you to everyone at Super 8 Kingsville for the experience.

Pleasant stay

I’ve stayed here many times and have always had a old experience. It has become the only place I stay when in the area on business unless they’re booked. Staff is always polite and the rooms are clean. Haven’t had any issues yet. 

Stayed many times

Work booked this hotel for me, and it’s horrible. It’s dirty, there is a giant hole in the ceiling in the bathroom, and I just felt itchy being I here. I had to leave and move to a room at the Hampton I felt so nasty here at the Super 8.
