The property as a whole is modern and well-maintained inside and out. It is very convenient to the interstate, yet set back far enough that there is no noticeable road noise getting to the rooms. The front desk associates were welcoming, courteous, professional, and helpful both at check-in and check-out. The room was sparkling clean and very comfortable. The wi-fi worked fine, and there was plenty of room for both working and relaxing. The breakfast layout was ample, with plenty of healthy options, and the coffee was good. All in all a very restful night's stay on a long road trip. Highly recommend!

great place for an overnight stay on a road trip

Best sleep I’ve had in a while. Nice rooms friendly people hope to stay again on the way home. They had lemonade in the lobby which my grandkids probably drank the whole gallon before the night was over. Overall great stay here in Knoxville!!!

Great bed and great night sleep. Housekeeping was super friendly. Kim gave me fresh towels and took my trash daily. We need more people like her in all hotels. Very sweet lady please give her a raise! Not too many nice people anymore in the world!

Friends all met at amigos for dinner. Great experience! We played games in the lobby and laughed like kids all night. Most hotels don’t offer games. I think more hotels should it was great! Will stay again for sure. John was a nice young man  at the desk

Best night ever

Super soft pillows great night rest while traveling. Coffee was great in the morning. Just had a really nice overall stay, short distance to walk for dinner. I took advantage of these warmer temps and walked to Aubrey’s for dinner and a drink. It was so refreshing to be out in the open

My husband and I stopped by for a night.. We experienced an excellent check in. And even better when we walked into our room and seen it had beautiful vinyl flooring. It smelled amazing and the beds were like sleeping on clouds.

I am a nurse and this Holiday had the best coffee I have ever had! The beds were comfy and staff was down home. This is a true southern hospitality hotel. I would recommend to anyone looking for close travel to UT medical center

Great place to stay 

One of the few IHG stays where my membership was unacknowledged. The front clerk was dressed and acted like he had walked in off the street.One of the rolling carts fell apart in my wife's hands. The room was reportedly just remodeled, but it was spartan, modernistic and cold. No carpet, no fabric, and everytime I sat in the desk chair it rocketed across the floor on its casters. A common suit bag was too wide for the provided hanging cabinet. The coffee service was inadequately stocked and the desk barely gave me enough for the next morning when I asked. The breakfast bar was poorly stocked - no sausage and unbelievably no eggs. The woman next to me returned from the buffet and all she had on her plate was a packet of mustard. On the plus side, the hotel is on the east side of the city, so if you're goingh that direction, you don't have to fight rush hour traffic.

Barest of bones

I'm giving this hotel a 4 of 5, mainly because the front desk staff was outstanding and worked with us when we requested a room change.  It's a nice property and our room was clean, however... if you are booked into room 106, you will be startled awake shortly after 3am as they prepare breakfast immediately next to your room. As a veteran, being startled by loud banging and voices so early in the morning, without prior warning, was a bit of a shock (understatement).  Room 106 should be converted into an open space or be properly soundproofed.   At a minimum, guests should be warned that they likely won't get much sleep after 3am.



Beware Room 106

I found myself staying at this hotel with my children after being displaced and our story being covered on all the local news stations. We were 2 weeks into our 6 week stay, which had already been paid in advance, when I was rudely called by the hotel's GM that I needed to vacate the premises immediately because we had spilled heavily creamed coffee on one of the beds and had ground food into the carpet. Some coffee had been spilled but are the sheets not washed thoroughly? The ground food accusation stemmed from a half eaten snack size bag of Cheetos spilled on the floor that could have been picked up by hand. The GM was disgustingly nasty on the phone, argumentative, and hung up in my face and when I came to the hotel to retrieve our belongings, she was loud and argumentative again and even allowed the chief engineer working on the hotel to interject himself into the situation and speak rude and condescending to me as well. The GM berated the front desk worker while simultaneously arguing with me over the phone. Her treatment of me and her employee were unnecessary and unacceptable. I reported her behavior to the president/owner of this hotel and the two directly under him with no communication back. The GM must feel entitled to get away with this behavior since her direct boss is her immediate relative. I've used this chain of hotels exclusively for several years but after this, I may never be back. Definitely won't recommend this specific one to anybody until much needed changes are made.
