The just spent my Saturday listening to a some rude load people fighting and banging on the door, all the way from the first floor. Worst experience. Aside from the the staff are great. I will say I probably won’t be visiting again.

Horrible.

Jerry and the staff was great to help and enjoy being with. They did the best they could with the outdated and cheaply done rooms. Door had a 1.6” gap at bottom and had to place towels to fill the gap. Breakfast was made from powered eggs and limiting. The entire hotel needed and remodel. It was the most cost effective in the area - you get what you pay for. 

Underwhelming 

The folks that ran the hotel were very nice but the room itself was a bit underwhelming. The toilet did not work correctly the 2 days I was there. They had to come in 2 times to work on it. I don't know that I would book in this hotel again when I'm back in LaVergne for business.

Econo Lodge Inn adn Suites Review

The hotel was very run down, and in an industrial area. In the room, 110, there was water damage, and more patched walls, than non-patched. The wall were also filthy. The door was poorly insulated and filthy. The king sized bed was worn out, and sunk towards the middle. The rollaway’s mattress had broken springs, and we had to use our air mattress to prevent injury. Stains on the sofa..wouldn’t let my boys sit on it without covering it with a sheet.

The bathroom appeared clean, but also very worn. There was limited hot water, and the fixtures were outdated. My son found roaches in the shower and on the floor. The floor was filthy and I had to wash my feet before getting in bed, which blackened the already dirty towels. We were booked for 2 nights, but left after the first night~just filthy and run down.

Showing some wear and tear but overall was a better stay than I expected. A lot of truckers and blue-collar workers stay there. The front desk agent was very nice and my bed was very comfortable. The cleaning however needs some work. The bedspread had several stains and was very wrinkled and the floor looked like it was only cleaned in the middle cuz all around the edges and under things was not clean. Had it been clean I would have given them a very good score. The TV had a fuzzy screen so I was not able to watch it. Very reasonably priced and it had a small fridge and microwave and they serve breakfast in the morning a light one but none the less it did have some eggs and sausages and biscuits. There was an outdoor pool available as well. It was a nice size room.

Pleasantly surprised, but work on cleaning

On our way driving from Atlanta to Chicago we hadn't prebooked any accomodation so once we had driven enough for the day we pulled up wherever we were looked at what motels were around and picked one to check and this time only asked the first if a room was available, the price and then decided to stay there for the night.
The last minute standby rate we paid was USD$105 inc taxes for our room for one night.
Free wifi and breakfast was included.
Staff we encountered all friendly and helpful as you would hope but don't always find
Seemed to be a semi industrial area but no problems and also with many other motels around close by as well.
Was a waffle house across the road that we went to for late supper.
While the Motel was not five star the room was certainly adequate, quite clean and comfortable, modern flat screen TV that worked which sometimes isn't the case in all motels so bottom line is that we would consider staying again and recommend this particular Econo Lodge with no hesitation if looking for value for money place to sleep over night.

Worth checking out if reasonably priced

I stay in a hotel four to five days a week and this hotel is no different than the other economy style motels. Some cleaner some not so much but overall this one was pretty decent. I've stayed in much worse and I've stayed in much better. Aside from a few minor dings that come along with age such as drywall patches the room overall was comfortable. My room specifically and I feel most importantly was definitely a clean bathroom, sink and bed. The older gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and accommodating and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. I would stay here again in the near future.
