Such an amazing place to stay! My boyfriend and I came here for two nights for a mini getaway and it was perfect. Walking distance to the beach, room was spotless, comfortable bed, and great customer service. Great prices and amenities. We’ll be back!

Great experience in Laguna Beach. Easy access to the room through the app. Everything you need in one location, which was conveniently placed in the south end of Laguna Beach. Walk right across the street to the beach access for some wave action and tide pools

Big Kahuna in Laguna

Sonder Woods Cove was such an amazing way to experience Laguna. The room was cozy, elevated and most importantly clean. We had a comfortable stay and a great view of the water/sunset too. Staff was very nice, would 100% stay again!

Perfect way to experience Laguna

Great location, walk to restaurants or short drive to downtown area. Across from cove to get to the beach. Nice room, clean, beautiful shower! Can see the ocean from some rooms and from the deck area. Beautiful to watch sunset.  Friendly staff

Staycation

Highly recommend! This is a cute property with beautiful rooms, though they are on the small side. There's metered street parking adjacent to the property in case you don't want to pay for on-site parking. Easy to book, check-in, and check-out with the Sonder app. Looking forward to returning.

Beautiful spot right off PCH

Planned a last minute trip to Laguna beach with my wife the night of thanksgiving. My wife managed to find the Laguna beach inn and she called the front desk to book a little getaway. She was helped by a man by the name of Greg. Greg was eager to help us. He managed to book us over the phone and was very helpful with everything during our entire stay. He helped with a very late check in, told us all of the hot spots there are to see in Laguna beach. The room was cute/cozy and we had a lovely view of the beach to wake up to. Room had cable, a/c, fast wifi and cleanliness. Overall, because of the attentiveness and hospitality of Greg, my wife and would definitely come back.

Anniversary trip

I stayed at the Laguna Beach Inn for some quality time to myself. I picked this hotel because of the affordable rates and proximity to the beach. This hotel was the best decision. The whole atmosphere was just comfortable. Staff and management were sincerely friendly and accommodating. I recommend it to anyone who wants to stay at a quite, clean, with a positive energy.

Worth the Stay

This place was okay for a budget stay in pricey Laguna, but it should/would cost less anywhere else for what you get. The rooms are clean but feel a tad run down and dated. It smelled a bit musty and the bed was overly firm and not comfortable. My husband and I felt each others' every movement. The extra resort fee seems rather ridiculous when all you get for it is wifi and access to a tiny pool. Still, it's a fine motel stay if you need to be in Laguna city limits on a budget.

So-so

My family of three visited the motel on a drive down the coast for one night. We chose the hotel because it was along the main drag albeit further down, close to Wood's Cove and had individual AC units which we like to think are a bit safer in light of COVID. 
On our drive down from Santa Barbara, about 5pm of the day of our reservation, we received a call from the hotel. They informed us they had no available room due to construction, and our credit card would not be charged. We were surprised as I had  booked the hotel some time ago using a reputable site.  They said they would try to find a comparable place for us. We then began calling various places to see what we could find ourselves. About an hour later, while we were still driving, the motel called back and said there was a room now! That room was an upgrade, but we would not be charged for the upgrade. 
When we arrived, we went to check in and were greeted by a gentleman who was NOT wearing a mask and stool with me outside of the office as I checked in. We went to the room and it was fine, much like a motel 8 type room but there were wood floors. 
Outside of our room was a metal table with chairs. That metal table and chairs would be the scene of almost constant chatter and drinking throughout the night. Although it was bearable for some of the night, at about 3:00 am I did have to ask the group of people drinking and laughing there to please quiet down. In the morning, we checked out at 11am and the same man who checked us in was there again without a mask. Apparently the safety of the motel's customers is not a major concern. Overall, it was an odd experience from the cancelled/u cancelled room to the mask leas staff to the conversation hub outside our room, I don't think I will be back. I definitely wouldn't recommend it for families with children who actually need to sleep at night or anyone who is a light sensitive sleeper. However, it was clean, close to Wood's Cove, and sufficient to get us through one night. 

A Mixed Loud Unmasked Bag 

Stayed here with my husband two years ago for our 6th anniversary. Originally had reservations at Capri at Laguna that were LOST. This hotel was half the price. Staff was friendly and the beach was super close! Needs a little TLC but aside from that i would stay again!!
