Great location.  Across street from beach and can walk to local shops and eateries.  A Maui bus stop is a little walk down the street and runs on time to a tee.  The room was clean and stayed sufficiently cool.  Great place to stay.  Recommended for couples.

Had a wonderful stay

Great spot across from the Ocean with views to die for! Watched the surfers with our coffee on the deck in the morning and with our mixed drinks in the late afternoon. Resort is conveniently located close to amenities and highway access. Resort was clean, bright and well maintained. We will be going back!!

Great Location/Great View

Very nice units, very clean and spacious. Not on the beach and the view we had was just ok, the beach is near only a 5 minute walk and you can use the amenities across the road at the other RCI property 

Very Nice

Had an amazing view of the beach between two trees. Memorable trip overall. Went with 4 kids and 3 families, it was comfortable and close to everything. Used the pool and hot tub at night. Walkable to pohaku park, dollies pub and a mile away from food trucks.

Kahana is a great location if you want a little peace of mind from the busy more touristed area of Kaanapali. Amapola at the front desk at the Kahana Beach resort has the true meaning and spirit of Aloha. The beach here is not that busy as some of the other beaches in the area. We will definitely return back to Kahana.

1 week vacation

This is a great location because of its proximity to the beach. We have had a very pleasant stay. The pool is nice and clean for the moments you just want to sit and read. It is clean and comfortable. The location is close to a few shops and within driving distance to other beaches and attractions.

Fun times

Should inform guests no regis after 5p
Info should inform guests only a window  ac as thought it was entire unit
Poor signage to find elevators and room number
Dishwasher needs replacement as all rusted inside
Cupboards too  hi to reach into—-put a step stool in closet 
Need written guide for tv and channels. 
Lighted magnify mirror in bathroom would be nice. 
Pillows lumpy and hard. Some softer pillows needed as an option in closet 
Good=handheld shower, fans, layout of unit w bedroom distant from living room ,cleanliness

Ok for price

we were very satisfied with the resort the Beach was close ,restaurants were close ,shopping close. Drivable to areas of interest. Watched the whales off of our balcony  and Surfers everyday. pool was close by and tennis courts.

was avery good location to all area amenities

We are RCI members and had our first trip to Maui at this resort.  It was a one bedroom with a roll away couch.  We have 3 kids so brought a blow up mattress for our youngest.  Couch bed was comfortable for our children.  Bedroom has a Queen bed which was comfortable.  It has a large window unit in den that worked welll.  Full small kitchen, washer dryer in the unit.  We would open windows and door when cooking or using dryer to get rid of the heat.  The location is excellent.  We checked in afterhours and they had a late check in box.  It was smooth.  We had unit E606.  I would recommend this unit. 

We would exchange here again

Well kept older condos with good views and location. Beach is across the street at related resort. A/C should be up stairs in the bedroom area rather than downstairs in the living room and kitchen area.
