Unit c101 managed by Chase N Rainbows. Booked for location, square footage, full kitchen, in unit laundry and pool. The unit had all of those and we had a lanai open to the golf course. The property was great, maybe more stairs than I wanted. Pool was beautiful. The spa heater broke our last day- glad it happened at the end. 

The property is up the hill from Ka’anapali Beach. An easy walk down and we usually took the free trolley back. Trolley stop is not near the property which was a little inconvenient when you’re tired. Several snorkel companies launch right from Ka’anapali which was great! The pool and shared BBQ’s were spotless and the grounds well manicured.  The employee in the main office could be abrupt, but we only saw her twice. The property is a solid 4.5 stars.

The unit C101 has 17 stairs down from the parking lot. When we arrived it was clean, but not spotless. The important stuff was well done. The kitchen was a hodgepodge of appliances etc. like your first apartment where you have hand me downs and things left from the party last weekend. The trash bags provided were cheap and tore all the time, we bought some so the walk to the dumpsters was easier. The master bed was fair at best and sofa is well loved. Lighting in the dining area is poor. Not a lot of pride of ownership. Wifi is slow and unsecured. 

The property managers would not answer questions about the property ahead of time. I called to ask about beach chairs and the answer was the owner is not required to provide. Answers were vague. There were 4 beach chairs, snorkel equipment and beach towels in the unit so I was glad we checked in first before the trip to Costco. There were also NO directions in the unit other than turn off AC when not in room and don’t use aerosol sunscreen anywhere in the unit. No directions to the trolley, no information about where to dump trash. The information email I received from Chase N Rainbows the day before ended up having inaccurate entry information. Thankfully I remembered which unit I reserved and tried the door code on C101 and it worked. Our last day, checkout was 11:00 am and the door code was supposed to change at 11:00. It changed at 9:50am!  Thankfully my son was still inside and could open the door or we would not have been able to load up an leave on time. I did send an email to the property managers about it and received no response. 

I would definitely stay at the property again, but not in a unit managed by Chase N Rainbows.

Unit C101

Don’t golf the Royal much any more, they priced themselves out of my value proposition, but did it today. It really is a great track, full of history, perfectly groomed. Couldn’t do the Plantation this year, closed for rebuild, so did the Royal.
Perfectly enjoyable. Perfect if they dropped their price a bit. 

A great track

We rented a two bedroom apartment here in March. Big, comfortable beds and living areas, excellently appointed air conditioned plus fans. Lovely pool area and gardens with just a short walk to Whalers Village. Definitely recommend.

Perfect Maui accommodation

This is our second stay at this condo! It is the best of both worlds,close to the beach and also restaurants and shopping!
The condo is well maintained and continually updated! You will lack nothing here !
The owner is pleasant and and communication has always been awesome. We feel at home here!
We highly recommend you stay!

Hidden gem

We loved this condo.  It was clean and well taken care of.  It has a kitchen that is furnished with everything you need for cooking.  If you don't want to cook there are restaurants near by that have great food at all price ranges.   It is a short walk to Kaanapali beach or enjoy the pool and hot tub on the property.  The condo itself is spacious, but our favorite place to hang out was on the lanai with a drink watching the Maui sunsets.  We liked the convenience of having a washer and dryer in the condo and the parking is very close.

Kaanapali Royal is a very nice property where the condos are layed out very nicely with plenty of room. Beautiful grounds and close to dinner and shopping. My only complaint is the air conditioning didn't work. That was one of the important reasons for picking this place. I must say the owner of the condo was very responsive and apologetic for our inconvenience. He did return a nights stay to us. I would probably stay here again, I'll just make sure the AC is working. 

Nice, But...

Great staff.  Honored the Military discount.  Great selection in the pro shop.  Fast greens.  Never had a bad lie.  The wind can be a factor.  Resort prices on beverages and food. I can’t wait to return.  Mahalo!

Nice Course

This side of the island is very wet but ventilated and offers an excellent climate, the structure is near the golf course, equipped with a swimming pool a jacuzzi and a free and common grilling station. Immersed in its wonderful garden full of flowering and fragrant trees is a very quiet two-storey complex spacious and clean rooms, immense kitchen and accessories for Italian standards (refrigerator oven washing machine etc etc etc.).

Perfect weather.

Great location on the beach, very nice staff, good room, great beach. But without a rental car you can't see much from this beautiful island. There's a brilliant road to Hana with 650 turns and 59 single-lane bridges.

Great days on Maui

It was by far the most beautiful vacation of my life and I would go again any time... what I say.
