The room was large and clean. Beds were comfortable. And location was perfect. The only negative was getting towels for the room. We were a party of 4 and when I requested additional towels I was told they only supply 2 sets of towels. I was reluctantly given 2 additional bath towels. That was a first.

Great Room/View

Its a good place cuz it has a good view, and its a good place if you like people goin threw your stuff, the owner which cleans the rooms told me she went threw my stuff and just cuz she found cigarette in my bag she was sayin i was smokin a a non smokin room and which i dont cuz i like smokin outside, and threw out the whole time she was talkin to me she was giving me an attitude and which i was polite to her the whole time and also we getting our sheets dirty

Reason whybi dont like it

We rent rooms here each year for family. Nothing fancy but close to the lake. There is NO after hours service. Last year the sheets had blood on them and this year our key was deactivated. Both times someone contacted us after we mad other arrangements for the night. Too risky to be locked out in the middle of the night with kids. No refunds issued.

No after hours service

Hotel was clean and very close to the lake. Service was very friendly.  Hotel does need some upgrading. Pillows and mattress are uncomfortable. Also, food choices are limited due to town being 20 minutes away. We probably won’t stay here again.

Weekend Getaway

We stayed here last June for the 3rd time in as many years.  Although we like the location, the property and rooms are not well-maintained.  We had to ask for some hangers, and it was not easy to obtain them.  The drains worked very slowly.  We will be staying in Brownwood in the future.

Our Last Time at this Hotel

this hotel is a nice place to stay. Its out by the lake and away from brownwood itself. the pool was not acessable when we stayed but we were able to have a mini hot-tub in our room so that was an added pleasure.the staff was both helpful and knowledgable abiut the area.

We were going hog hunting with my son and son in law and stayed here for the 4 hours that we did sleep that night. It was clean, newly renovated and very comfortable. The towels were a bit scratchy and the breakfast was a bit sparse but they are very family and dog friendly.
