Flawless.  The cabins are in fantastic shape…looking brand new.  It’s an amazing place to stay to feel part of the parks but yet have some space.  Housekeeping was amazing.  So friendly and so helpful, have never had service with a smile like this at any hotel in the world.

It’s not a question of if we will be back it’s a matter of how soon.  

Thank you Disney!

Phenomenal as always

We booked this property / room so we could sleep for a couple of hours and swim after we arrived on a redeye flight from LA.  Our flight was to land at 6:30.  We checked in on the Disney World app a week ahead and were expecting a room assignment around 4pm, but were never given one.  

Fast forward to our arrival at 9:00 (our flight was delayed) we went to the front desk to get a room number and were finally given a room (two hours before checkout).  We walked down to our room and imagine our surprise when a maid walked out of our room!  I asked what she was doing and she told us she was almost done cleaning the room.  How is that possible if checkin was at 4pm and it is now 9am the following day?  Clearly they rented our room to someone else and gave us the first available room that was cleaned the next day.   Regardless, we waiting in the hall for 5 min for her to finish and dropped our bags.  The room was ok, nothing special at all.  We then decided since it was now 9 that we would go have breakfast, and swim for a bit.

Breakfast was a typical quick service and again average at best.  

We changed into our swim clothes and it was now after 10am and the main pool was to be open.  We walked in to swim and then were told the pool is closed due to insufficient water levels and to check back later.

We went to the DVC pool that was overcrowded due to the other pool being closed, swam for 10 min, grabbed our bags and left.

Clearly this is not a property that we will be coming back to.  While it looks great on paper and photos, I doesn't feel that way when you are there.   We will not be back.

I can't make this up...

The room is beautiful and the lobby is spectacular.  However, the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything your neighbor says.  Check out was awful.  I called 3 times for a luggage cart and waited an hour, one never came.  I wanted to love this place, but will stick with the Polynesian or Grand Floridian Villas going forward.

Wanted to love it, but was disappointed.

We recently stayed in the cabins over the Christmas break and they were incredible.  Even if this wasn’t on Disney property it would have been amazing.  The cabin is a vacation by itself.  The fact that you are at Wilderness Lodge and at Disney puts this at an incredible level.  We have been staying here for years and love it every single time!

Absolutely incredible-Disney does it again!

We stayed at this resort with our two young children and upon check-in, we were upgraded to a two bedroom villa, instead of a one bedroom. The staff at this resort are exceptional and the rooms are absolutely stunning. The pool area was fantastic and my kids had a blast. Getting to/from Magic Kingdom was very easy and there were an assortment of transportation options available throughout the day. We would definitely stay at this resort again.

Nicest Resort at Disney World

We have stayed in the regular rooms at wilderness lodge and this was our first time in a villa at CC. The layout of the room is not great. We had just come from a stay at Rivera 1 bedroom villa which was amazing!! We didn’t love these rooms. The hotel, pool and dining was great though.

Enchanting Disney Get away with my Family

We spent all the years visiting the hotel because its charm of nature attracted us, so we decided to book at this hotel so that we could enjoy it to the fullest and since arrival it was a total disappointment, after checking in we were assigned a room that literally led us through a corridor that looked like a mousetrap, dark, narrow and above all like a labyrinth, we made the demand to change the location of the room and hopefully resign ourselves to the Riveira hotel.

This place is lovely, the rooms are comfortable and if you plan on just visiting the Disney parks you don't need to rent a car as the buses from Dindey are expensive to get to and from the park.If you plan on including shopping and visiting Univerlas Studios it is advisable to consider renting your own means of transportation as there is nothing nearby (supermarkets, pharmacies, malls).If you look carefully in the forest you can see deer.

We were very welcomed, and although we arrived early, the attendant was super kind in allowing us an early check-in. The room was very cozy, although I think that because we were in four people it was a bit uncomfortable for two of us to have to sleep on the couch, which was a bit rough. The structure of the hotel is fantastic, with plenty of fun options, like a swimming pool with an excellent toy island for young children where children play lively, a playroom, bicycle rentals, a movie under the stars, a fire with marshmellows and all that.
