well i just spent 5 days at this place owners are very friendly now the place is small in regards for room space but vey cozy i would highly recommend this pace its just on the boundaries of lake George but like i said very clean very nice people that own it nice pool and it was a great place to be at will definitely go back again

sun and fun

Seven Dwarfs reminded me of summer vacations of the ‘60s in the family station wagon. Quaint, comfy cabins with what you want in the 21st century. Wi Fi, refrigerator, tv. We were greeted with a smile and given suggestions for where to eat. Convienent location. I look forward to visiting again!

Retro fun with current amenities

Reserved for 2 nights, rate was great. Room was comfy and clean for the most part minus cob webs. We did have a few carpenter ants but hey its spring. Would love to have real towel bath mats instead of paper. Very nice view and cute porch. Very quiet location. Near highway but still quiet. Wish coffee was left later in the kitchen. Beds were very squeaky but surprisingly comfortable. Heat worked well, ac was so so. Very friendly and accommodating owners/ staff. Had an issue with our tv remote and they fixed it quickly. This place has been around a long time . If you want luxury stay elsewhere.  We however enjoyed it.

Rate was great, but place is very basic and that's ok!

The staff was very nice. We were in cabin 7 . Refrigerator  does not get cold . . Freezer very small but does work . Odd. Room is very tight . But very clean and comfortable bed. Busted my shins on the over size bed frame multiple times. This was absolutely the most annoying thing. Air conditioning very good. Bathroom very small but usable. Clean towels and wash clothes. Parking in this cabin is not very good. Can’t fit a truck. Small car only. I had a motorcycle and trailer. This was a bit of a problem at the start . But was quickly handled. Coffee is good in the morning. And they do have a kitchen if you choose to use it.  I have no complaints other than the bed frame that is hidden. And could actually be fixed by a carpenter. I highly recommend this establishment. Close to town. And right off the ramp.

7 Dwarfs

the rooms are quite quaint and adorable but they could keep it cleaner. we had to ask for extra towels and for them to clean properly...the bathroom wasn't cleaned and they didn't sweep floors:( we thoroughly enjoyed the pool ...we were there 5 days and spent the afternoons playing and relaxing at the pool! bring your hairdryer with you! and the wi-fi was mediocre. the owners were quite friendly and accomadating.The community kitchen was disgusting and filthy. i wouldn't use the grills, fridge or space in there and we went elsewhere for our coffee.

Last minute reservation was available and reasonable

They are cute cabins BUT the ants are horrible.  Even food that was packaged and sealed ants all over everything..   :( I hope they fix the problem because I would like to go back beside that the bed was smaller then the frame so it left a lot of gapes.

Ants

Our group of four adult women stayed here for a weekend in October.  The location is good, but the facilities were subpar.  We wanted a suite with a kitchenette for more space, so we booked the Seven Dwarves.  Pros:  Beds were comfortable, the stove and fridge looked fairly new, as did the vinyl flooring.  Shower worked ok.  Space heaters in kitchen and bedrooms functioned properly. Cons: decor was just awful.  The "living area" had several old chairs that made it look like a waiting room.  Both tv's were in the bedrooms, not in the living area.  The futon was a horror show; glad we didn't need it.  The bathroom was small without a fan so it got terribly foggy and humid.  Bathroom was small without shelving or anyplace to hang one's belongings.  Water in sink came out in a trickle, took forever to make it run hot.  There was garage-sale art on the walls that was depressing.  No iron in the room but one was brought to us from the office.  It leaked water everywhere.  Walls need scrubbing and/or new paint.  
Our suite was functional.  It served our purposes, but I wouldn't call it a "pleasant stay".   This place would be much better with some minimal updating.

Could have been a lot better

You get what you pay for, right? The concept of the little log cabin by the babbling brook is very enticing. We enjoyed hearing the water rushing just steps from our back door. However, the screen on the back door was all there was...no glass... so it was COLD at night in the room (in May). There is a little heater but we didn't see it until the morning. The curtain in the bathroom was dirty and the 1980's bedspread had a stain that looked like blood. UGH. We took it off (also why we were cold!) because it was late and we were too tired. Needed to rest and continue on to Montreal in the morning. In the morning we went to check out and get the "free coffee" advertised but nobody was around so we left the key in the room. The pool looked nice and it was nice that there were grills and picnic tables.... but the cabin itself was slightly gross. Would not stay here again.

One step above camping

I had booked a cabin for 2 nights and decided the next day to extend my stay as I was granted more time off. When I called the motel, I was told I had to go through the booking agency by the gentleman who answered the phone. Was on hold with the agency for 20 minutes while they tried to contact someone. They apologized profusely and sent them an email. They kept me updated for 2 days and there was NO response from the motel for my request. So I guess they didn't want my business. Screw them. I found another place 10 miles down the road right on the water.

Never got a chance to visit

The 7 Dwarfs photos are VERY deceiving left a day early because it was dirty UNcared for grounds,garbage in pool area broken door,not comfortable with the hook and eye locks! and the constant smell of garbage
