Clean, comfortable, easily accessible to Lake George village and Saratoga.
Not a lot of hot water for showers. If a quick efficient shower is all you need, it’s fine. On the opposite side of the street from lake view properties, but it’s fine if that doesn’t bother you. Mary Ellen gave us an excellent recommendation for breakfast.

Clean and comfortable

We absolutely loved our stay at the Inn on the Hill! The whole property and the room were very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the staff was so friendly. The pool was clean and had brand new furniture. We would highly recommend it!

Definitely recommend!

My girls and I and Grand Daughters did a 4 day trip to Lake George for school shopping.We stayed at the Inn on the Hill and was very very pleased with Mary Ellen .She was so accommodating and friendly.The room was big enough for us girls and super clean.We enjoyed the salt water pool. Loved the location.Definitely will visit again.

Just stayed at this wonderful Inn. It looks just as advertised. The place is clean, comfortable, and cozy. It is just a mile from Lake George Village. It does have a limited view of the lake from the first-floor rooms but the bonus is the front porch and little deck in the back of your room. The bathroom is updated but the water pressure is not the best but it will do. The beds were comfortable and the atmosphere was amazing. I loved sitting on the front porch and taking in the views. The innkeeper was very nice and accommodating. It is a place I would stay again. Just a hop skip and jump from the action. So if you want to be in the mix of things but have quiet nights, this is the place to stay. It will not disappoint. The pictures are exactly what you get. Oh, I forgot to mention, they also have a nice size pool with seating.

Cute and Comfy

This motel is located just a short drive from the village of lake George.  Second floor rooms have a great view of the lake! Located across the street is a local general store and restaurant called the big moose general store and restaurant  that has amazing food.

Mary the hotel manager who lives on premise was very friendly and provided excellent service. Whatever we needed from extra towels to a lost room key she and her staff came to the rescue.

Great place to bring the family when visiting the lake. My wife and I will be back next year with our daughter.

Great place for a family getaway!

My husband and I ,Along with our 3 year old daughter were looking for a place to get away for a few days, as we all may need at this time , and the Inn On the hill was the perfect spot. So close to many fun family activities and also to the shopping outlets so ,even the rainy days where fun. I highly recommend the Inn on the hill. Maryellen was very  friendly, and attentive to us during our stay as well .We will definitely be back !

Lovely family get away

My first time at Lake George and this place was perfect and convenient and close to all attractions. The property manager is extremely nice and accommodating for all needs.  I HIGHLY recommend a stay here.  Nice pool and gas grills available and close to the general store!

Great Great place

My husband and I stayed at Inn on the Hill for 5 days last week.  Mary Ellen and her family run a beautiful place to stay.  It was very clean and comfortable.  It had a microwave and small refrigerator in the room and all the furnishings are new. Mary Ellen was very helpful and obliging to us during our stay.  All the rooms have a beautiful view of the lake.  It is very peaceful and quiet.  A great place for families. We met some very nice people there last week.  We look forward to going back next year. I highly recommend Inn on the Hill if you are looking to relax and enjoy your time away.

Wonderful Vacation

We enjoyed staying at Inn on the Hill. The rooms were clean the staff were friendly and always checked to see if we needed anything,The owner was very nice.
The rooms are all with individual entrances.There are chairs outside each room to sit out on the balcony and the pool was very clean.I spent a week here with my husband and two children 3 years and 10 months old and it was great, so peaceful and quiet. I would definitely go back.

Great for Families

MaryEllen & her staff were professional & friendly, greeting my family & I w/ cheerful smiles full of enthusiasm. The king room was spacious, clean & bright w/ sunshine. The bathroom inspected by my wife first was spotless, disinfected & full of clean towels & extra amenities. Which made my wife very happy. The well manicured BBQ area & crystal clear pool made me & my kids happy & wet(a lot). Without a doubt our next trip to the lake will be easily made w/ one phone call to MaryEllen & " The Inn on the Hill"
