After reading the reviews of this lodge and viewing the pictures of both the owners and other guests that have stayed we booked this lodge. Prior to arrival we received a text message with access codes to the room. We thought this very useful. We had booked room 13 on the recommendation of another travellers comments! big mistake. What the pictures fail to show is the proximity to a very busy road. Its the main route into Grand Lake. All the room next to ours were empty! The room itself was ok. you can see the owners had thought about the interior. The bunk beds at the back of the room were very popular with our children. The big problem with the rooms at the front of the lodge is the road, it is so noisy. Our sleep was also disrupted by the fridge which started knocking at 2 am. We tried moving it to stop the sound however gave up and switched it off. Overall the Lodge felt as though minimal effort was made to keep it tidy. The grounds looked like they needed a good tidy up. The pool looked good. We would not stay here again due to the road noise and the price did not reflect the accommodation.

I stayed at the Adirondack Diamond Point Lodge through Airbnb with a few friends during a beautiful weekend in April. My friends and I had an amazing time staying in our cozy and clean cabin! There was an attached deck that had a fire pit with a view looking out to Lake George, which we made a lot of use of. We also had a full kitchen (well stocked with dishes) and lots of fuzzy blankets, which were great for lounging on the large sectional. The owners were very nice when we had questions and were very helpful in reuniting me with a lost item after our stay. Would definitely stay here again if I’m in the area and would recommend to anyone!

Great place to stay on Lake George !

We love this place and have been returning for years! 
Great family vacation place, very beautiful, well maintained, many amenities, very clean and staff are always friendly and helpful. 
We love the pool because it’s always well maintained and the community room with pool table and the Laundry room is very clean and convenient to help me keep up with not having to do laundry when I return home.

Second stay here this year 😃

This is my second time to be at lake George but this time is absolutely way better than my first experience this place is so cozy and warm from the owner’s treatment to how clean the place and so organized. All my family loved it. Lots lots lots activities pool, game room full of table tennis, billiard, darts, board game, that is in addition to the outside activities like basketball, playground for kids. So close to Lake George Village. About 8 minutes driving. Definitely recommend this place to anyone. If you think a family place to be this is definitely it. It was my first time here but definitely won’t be the last.

Family friendly

This is our sixth year staying here and we love it. It is an easy drive to Bolton Landing for stores and restaurants if you don't want to fight the traffic in downtown Lake George. We noticed the updates inside this year. Everything we need is available and the pool is great. We will return again next year!

We Love This Place!

Our 2nd time staying here and both were wonderful experiences.  Love the new adirondack decor, spacious rooms. Very clean. Beautiful pool area and rec room. Very safe and family oriented. Excellent service! Look forward to returning.

We love staying at Diamond Point ADK Lodge

Beautiful , rustic setting. Clean room with comfortable bedding and many small details thought through. Great location. Would stay again and recommend to friends and family. ( stayed in Bear Den Suite #13, was comfortable for two adults with two grown children.)

Beautiful, well maintained property in great location.

This place was the perfect spot, close to town yet far enough so it was quiet. Staff was super friendly and the accommodations were fantastic. 
Pool area was great and for the hour it rained the game room came in handy, full size ping pong table, pool table and lots of games to play !! Thank you to the Drake family for a wonderful experience !!!

Vacation

Friendly staff and decent accommodations. If you are looking for the cabin/cottage experience in Lake George, this fits the bill. Just far enough from the village to feel remote, but close enough to enjoy the town. Very nice pool and outdoor recreation area.

I can't say enough about this property! We stayed in the Eagles Nest, which is a 3 bedroom house. We had 3 adults and 2 children, and the space was huge. Great size kitchen/dining area and family room and the bedrooms were also large (2 kings, 1 queen). It smelled so clean when we walked in and all the furniture was brand new. Beds were super comfortable as well. We also had a small deck with an outdoor table and a private fire pit area. The location was great- we couldn't see the lake, which may be a con for some, but didn't bother us. It was really quiet and peaceful, which we wanted, and only a short drive to town. We also got out early and did our sight seeing/touristy stuff early, which left us with the pool to ourselves in the afternoon when everyone else was out and about! 

Some little details that I noticed: 1. there were a variety of types of pillows (I'm picky, so I notice). 2. There were hooks for hanging things throughout the house- which normally you wouldn't care about, but when you're hanging bathing suits, towels, goggles, jackets, etc., all those hooks came in handy! 3. The kitchen was well appointed- plates, cups, cutlery, serving utensils, toaster, coffee maker, full sized fridge, microwave, etc. We try to save money on food on vacation so being able to make breakfast, lunch, and dinner at "home" was fantastic. 4. There were pool toys! My kids were thrilled! Actually- the entire pool area was fantastic... 5. The game room had a lot of things to do and there was also an outdoor play area and outdoor games. Plenty to do to keep busy, even if you stay on the property or find yourself with a rainy day. 

When checking in the owner was telling me and another guest that they had just acquired the property in January. The fact that they have accomplished so much (new furniture, linens, brand new paint, fixing things on the property, installing central air, etc) in a time that has been beyond difficult for the hospitality business is nothing short of amazing. I can only imagine what this property will look like in a year. There are still little things here and there that I imagine are on their list of things - our sliding door stuck a bit, the game room was also a storage spot- but NOTHING that took away from our enjoyment and stay. We have already booked another stay when we come back to town for the Adirondack Nationals. 

The only thing to note was that there were no towels. We called down to ask and were told that there should have been an email saying that they were not doing towel service due to Covid. I somehow missed this. They were more than accommodating and brought us a few (we had beach towels with us, but they still supplemented) to help get us through. 

So glad we found this place and can't wait to come back!
