Great place to stay.  very clean and well equipped.  the only issue was that the spa tub was able to have a bath, but the jets didn't work.

I would definitely come back to this resort as it was very comfortable

Hot Springs resort

Good location on lake. Minutes from town. Apartment style complex. Under new management. Partial week cleaning charge $115 vs published $100. Gated complex so make sure you have gate code prior to arrival.

Weekend getaway

We were really impressed with this older resort.  It was very clean and the attention to detail in the condo was great.  Since we were here off season you could tell that some of the seasonal amenities could be improved or updated.  

Hidden Gem on Hamilton

Large with much potential if cared for and updated from 1980’s.  Musty smell, extreme worn furniture, broken appliances, rusty and broken utensils . Stained ceilings.  Had water dripping from kitchen ceiling and moved to an equally terrible unit. Sour towels. James at front desk was helpful and kind.

Great location great amenities for the winter months, has fire pit was wonderful. Staff was helpful when the hot water heater in the unit went out during the night they got us into another room immediately Vince I notified them what happened. Excellent customer service.

Great place for a family vacation

This is a PERFECTLY acceptable resort for most travelers who know what travel is all about. NO, it's not fancy and it's not all brand new. It's comfortable, clean, well appointed, decently maintained, and PERFECTLY nice.  If you are looking for a LUXURY resort and not a family friendly comfortable space that is perfectly nice...this isn't the place to look.

I liked this place a lot. It's large. It's clean. It has everything you need. It is furnished well. It's nice. If I were a "local" and needed a place to vacation in Hot Springs...I'd be here v. any place else. Alas, this was my second and likely last visit to HS... so... 

But, if I come back...this will be the place for me.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The unit was clean and nice. The view was awesome! The staff was excellent.
We had additional family come to stay for an extended weekend. I highly recommend staying at Emerald Isle.

Wonderful getaway

Will never go here again.  The units are in general disrepair and the housekeeping is terrible.  Everything from missing doors on a fireplace, missing screen on doorwall, pots and pans that were so abused I wouldn't have fed an animal from them, missing or broken electrical outlet covers, moldy caulking around tub, dirty heat registers, missing or broken kitchen utinsels and dishes, no light blocking window coverings in bedroom, nonworking vent fan and heater in bathroom, whirlpool tub disabled, and furniture that was so threadbare of waterstained it looked like they belonged in a college frat house.  The resort charged a $100 cleaning fee upon check in, and once in the unit I wondered if it meant that after they had the $100 they would clean the unit.  They did refund it, grudgingly, after being shown pictures of all of the issuew with the unit.

Abused units that have not been kept clean, repaired or updated.

The title says it all - we had a top floor room that overlooked the lake - that was the best part of the place. The entire until is old and cheap, not a resort feel at all (and honestly I am not too easy to please). Linens were clean and the unit overall was clean, with the exception of the bar stools and the couch. Stools were cloth seats and disgusting. The couch clearly had been soaked in freshener that was over used. Whirlpool tub did not work and if you wanted to use fireplace, you had to have someone come and get it set up, too much of a hassle. The resort is quiet which is nice. But it is all outdated and needs work with paint chipping, old worn bathroom sinks, cheap furniture and appliances, not a resourt feel.

Outdated, needs work, but nice view

First time at Emerald Isle in Hot Springs AR. Quick ck in/out. Nice view of the bay. Very friendly staff.  Free parking and a gated condo community. The 2 bdrm condo was very nice, needs some updating but a very comfortable stay. Faucets in the master bath and kitchen needed maintenance. Great place to return to after a day of crystal hunting and playing tourist.  Will return again in 2023.
