Wonderful experience! I will definitely stay here again. Super friendly staff, cabins very clean and well kept. Stayed here for the motorcycle rally. Hoping to plan fishing trip in the spring. The bar and restaurant were just added bonuses to my stay. 

Excellent vacation!

i went here on a vacation with my family and i had so much fun. there was so many things to do that kept me and my younger sister entertained. my sister and i loved the water trampoline they have on the lake. throught the day we kept going on the water trampoline because it was so fun. another one of my favorites was tubing. we rented a boat and got to tube around lake ozark, and boy was that a blast! and if that’s not your cup of tea there is aldo a huge amazing pool we got swim in as well. the food was INCREDIBLE! the first night we stayed we ate out of there food truck and it was just so good we had it again another night. and if you are anything like my grandpa you would love there bar. my sister and i got a few virgin pina caladas and we loved them! our cabin we stayed in was great. we stayed in the bigger one with the two beds and a pull out couch. after a hot day in the sun going back into the cabins felt amazing. the air conditioning after a long day in hot weather was just was we needed. i loved staying at buddy’s harbor and i am already asking to go back! 

kids point of view

I was here earlier spring on a fishing trip, a lot of construction going on. Talked wife and grandchildren into returning for a vacation. Wow !! What a great experience !! Kids 13 and 9 had a blast the pool, water trampoline, water toys jet ski rentals, tubing and nightly campfires kept them completely entertained. The new bar with view, kept me entertained. The food truck had exceptional good food. Rooms were very clean and comfortable, wife was happy. The entire staff, went out of their way to make are entire stay very enjoyable. We take grandchildren on a destination trip every year. on the  trip home we ask them what they wanted to do next year. Unanimous vote, they want to return next year!!!

Do not book through 3 rd party! They will not honor your reservation like mine if they get a direct booking. Then Oscar will call and scream at you about how you booked through a 3 rd party booking. I used American express travel online and booked my entire vacation around this hotel to be canceled 3 days later after everything booked!  They will not help you relocate either btw. Just sorry no accommodation available

This was a great resort, and we truly enjoyed our time! The waterfront views, the gorgeous pool, and the beautiful touches in the landscaping will have us coming back. They offered excellent and exciting paid amenities like jet ski and boat rentals, as well as many free offerings like kayaks and paddle boards. We also loved how small the resort was- it wasn't overly crowded, and you were almost guaranteed alone time in the pool! It wasn't pretentious or glitzy. It felt like a family-owned and down-to-earth place. The rooms were were VERY clean, and had everything we needed. Anything we ran into was addressed promptly.

It was clear that they were still getting up and running- they recently purchased the property. Many of the amenities advertised were not yet ready (the lounge, for example, doesn't exist yet). Additionally, the food and the bar menu were lacking in variety- the house cocktails are all fruity tropical cocktails (they were delicious- but it would be great to have a few less-sweet options, which would have had us drinking much more of theirs than our own) and the food menu was either greasy or salads (more in-between options would have been awesome- chicken breast, black bean burger, fish tacos, quesadillas, etc).

We would love to be back, and are so excited telling our friends about the up-and-coming resort!

I stayed for 4 nights in low season for a quiet break as was in the area. I had a lovely spacious cabin that had recently been renovated by the new owner; It overlooked the lake with a very comfortable bed (pillow selection), kitchenette, good shower with ample hot water in the bathroom, a new gas fired fireplace and comfortable furniture in the main area so it was very cosy and warm even in the winter weather, outdoor private deck with table and chairs. I looked around one of the un-renovated cabins and a vast improvement now if you have ever stayed here before (it used to be called Ozark Village Resort)

The whole complex is undergoing this major renovation (nearly finished) - completed new reception and deli with a very tasty looking menu (the multi talented new owner is an ex-chef and DJ amongst other things), cool 'old corn bin' bar near the Marina/pool area, a further indoor bar and club area with full Dj set up and all with full liquor licence, updated decking around the pool and marina, new RV hook ups and no doubt many other things I didn’t spot. Finally albeit very well located a feeling of space as is set in a large area of land. 

I can only imagine what a superb place this will be by the summer season  (jet skis and boats being updated also) - oh and there is a marina gas station and plenty of space for visitors to arrive by boat to eat and party. Work in progress but having driven about looking at alternative accommodation for a return this is a cut above the rest. 


Wow! This will be the best place on the Ozark this season!

Cute and very clean room, very comfortable. Did a little fishing, nice boat docks. A lot of construction going on didn’t interfere with our stay. Can’t wait to enjoy the new bar and restaurant. Will definitely be returning later this year when the fishing gets better. Friendly people !!

Beautiful, Lakeview !!

Just had the best time at Buddy’s Harbor! Such a great place to stay on the lake, the facility is cute and clean. Kristin and the new management are so friendly and they’ve made some amazing changes to what this place was previously. They have boat rentals and other activities that are good for couples or families. My husband and I will definitely be coming back on our next visit. 

Cute, Clean & Fun Vacation Spot

You will get lied to. I booked at full refund up until a week before check in. Had to cancel a month before that and got a run around. Did not receive one penny back.  So beware they lie. First they said I would not get it until the room booked and it booked for the dates and of course they lied and now saying I booked with no refund which is a lie for sure.

Do not book and expect a refund if something happens where you need to cancel.

What a beautiful setting for our small family trip! Staff were very helpful and friendly, the cabins were clean, nicely furnished and comfortable. There are many extras at this resort; groups of chairs and picnic tables strategically placed for gatherings. The grills invite outdoor cooking. Staff brought ingredients for smores and made a big fire in the colossal fire pit. There is outdoor children's playground equipment and a  floating trampoline. We didn't use the clubhouse yet it looked like the rest of the resort; thoughtfully equipped to meet a variety of interests. This is all the non-fishing comments! The resort is set up for fishing as well; met everyone's needs.
