While the location of this hotel is good if you want to be by the freeway, however it isn’t the nicest place to stay. 

Firstly, the hotel smells horrible and the room is even worse. I had ants all over the sink area and my dogs were licking several spots on the carpet so who knows what was on there. While walking my dogs is saw a ruined mattress thrown in the “back area” of the property. Along with a broken bbq and trash all over. 

While they are dog friendly, there was a guy playing with his dog off leash all the time outside. While that’s not usually a huge issue for us, we just rescued a dog and he is timid and doesn’t appreciate dogs running up on us off leash.

Not the nicest place to stay.

I called this hotel to make my reservation and got an all-in price over the phone, but when I arrived, the hotel tried to charge me over $60 more than that amount. When I informed him of this, he acted as if I were lying, yet came down a bit (though not to the amount I was quoted on the phone.) After we checked out I discovered over $500 in additional charges on my credit card in 4 different transactions from this hotel! What a nightmare. I had to call my bank to stop the transactions. 

All this headache for a hotel room that smelled musty, was too cold, super dated, and still overpriced, no ice machine... Save yourself the headache and stay somewhere else.

Bait and Switch--go elsewhere 

We stayed at two Super 8 Motels and a Days Inn recently.  Rodeway Inn in Lamont was by far the cleanest and had the best breakfast we have had.  I left an I Phone in the room and the manager went way beyond what I expected in getting my phone found and back to me.  I would stay here again without hestitation.

Helpfull and polite staff. Very clean room and very affordable price. Will come back here on our way back. 
Gentleman at the front desk was very helpfull to show us some rooms and suggested nice place to eat. We enjoyed our stay

Pleasant staff and stay 

We were very surprised that the rooms were clean and fresh. It didn’t feel that way looking from outside of the motel. Staff is very helpful and accommodating. We recommend this place and will definitely stay again when in the area

Clean room

Nastiest place I have stayed in and the rooms reek of mold, also there was stains on the curtains and on the bed sheets,also when we walked in the lounge reeked of cigarette smoke and then when we slept there I woke up itching like no other so if you are looking to stay in Lamoni stay at the cobblestone inn

Poor wouldn’t recommend to anyone

Positive: Location, right off of 35, cheap, and beds were comfortable.
Negative:  overwhelming mold smell and got a non-smoking room and it smelled like cigarettes. Woke up with headache and runny nose. 

My daughter put it well, “ would have felt healthier sleeping in our car with the windows open as our air conditioner”.

Moldy, would not recommend.

This is clearly a sub $100.00 per night hotel. It was clean and the room was comfortable. There was a broken window in the hallway. The bad thing is that way they take advantage of events at Graceland University. This weekend was graduation and not only was the price per night $125.00 but there was also a 2 night minimum. When I inquired about the policy, he asked if I had tried other motels in the area. In other words telling me that he could charge what ever he wanted! Very poor attitude and business practice.

Taking advantage of customers

We were very grateful to get a room very late at night. Easy check-in. The lady who checked us in helped with recommendations for food. Room was very clean, comfortable beds. They have nice breakfast too. Definitely would stop here again.

Great staff

The hotel is located in I-35, one of the best stays on a recent trip. Rooms are very clean and comfortable, has pancakes and sandwiches for breakfast, staff is very friendly. 
Will stay here again and recommend
