Stayed here for the second time over spring break.  The room was appointed well, beds were comfortable and the kitchen is a great plus. The pools are great and seemed to be well kept.  Planet Hollywood is about a 10-15 minute walk away and Top Golf is right across the street.  It's nice that you can walk to the strip, but then escape to a quiet location.  It is very close to the airport, so you will hear the jets flying over when you are at the pool during the day, but we didn't notice them at night in the room very much.  Staff there was good too.  A lot of people complain about the sales pitch in the reviews, but we found that they didn't hound us at all and in this day and age, disconnecting the phones isn't a big deal.  It did seem like they had a lot of new staff working at the pool area and the cafe, so service was a bit hit and miss, but nothing that really deterred from the trip.  So, if you are looking for a great way to do Vegas and not have to stay right in a casino, this is a great option.

Just off the strip, but a good spot

Stayed for a week at the Wyndham.  EXCELLENT.  It's been updated.  The room was very nice, plenty of space for four of us.  Kitchen was well appointed.  We cooked in two nights and had plenty of plates, cookware etc.  Grilled out on one of the four large gas grills provided at the resort.  Three beautiful pools, four hot tubs, free movie theater, lobby bar, Oasis grill for a quick bite (food was very good for a counter service grill), two work out facilities, sauna, everything you could ask for.  Having the kitchen really cuts down on the Vegas restaurant expenses.  Service at the resort was excellent.  Only good things to say about the resort.  They have a shuttle to the strip but we just walked each day.  About a half mile from the strip but an easy walk.  Highly recommend this resort and reasonably priced.

Great Stay at the Wyndham Grand Desert

I just recently had a girl's trip there for my birthday March 3rd 2018 in a 2 bed room suite.  The suite was nice, close to the strip. But I am most disappointed in leaving my Beats Solo 3 wireless headphones in the safe and being informed that it cannot be found. Spoke to housekeeping and security who informed me that they went up to check the suite after I left and it could not be found.  So I am wondering - how on earth can I have left something in the safe and no one knows where it is? That just means that someone STOLE my headphones!

Do not leave items in your -you will not get it back!

The Wyndham is a large property with 3 towers. We stayed in tower 2 for 3 nights. The room had 2 bedrooms. One was a king, the other had 2 double beds. There is everything you need in the room. Actually, it's nicer that my first apartment. I like the movie theater. There are 2 pools and plenty of room to relax.

A few days with friends

After reading the reviews- I was not sure what to expect. 
Well the room was very nice. Newly renovated. Building 2 &3 are renovated. 
Our room faced the pool. Staff went out of the way to make me happy.

Chris from sales was a nice guy. Not pushy.
He respected my time. Got my free gift.

The only thing I can complain about is the pool bar services.  The drinks were not made correctly. A lot of staff confusion. 
Solution would be to train the staff before the opening day.  

Clean and safe. 

We will go back.
   

Great staff & good location 

We took a 10 day trip around LA, and ended the final 4 days in Las Vegas. Our journey was long and restless with the high heat but as we pulled up to the hotel, me and my family were amazed! The whole layout seems to catch your eyes, with gorgeous interior and a grand welcome. Our room was honestly a good size, with 2 double beds for me and my 2 sisters, a main bathroom, a kitchen area with an island, chilling area, and a large bed room for our parents with a big king size bed, and their own on suite with a Jacuzzi bath. It was unheard of the get this room in England making us amazed a little. The facilities were there but not really used as such? A good time to relax whilst on holiday, although we would of enjoyed it a little more if we weren't made to sit in a meeting for 2 hours. This was a downfall to which they use to make you join the company scheme however we were gifted 100 dollars after.

Insane grounds, fabulous experience!

Some pressure to take show tickets for attending a presentation but thankfully they let us go as we had sat through a presentation last year. 2 bed apartment spacious and in good condition, large comfortable bed and 2 televisions. Good pool area and sun beds.

Good position near the strip and good facilities

I have stayed here before and LOVED the amenities and the layout.  But this past February trip was the first one I've taken where you are hounded, day and night, phone calls to your room at 8:00am and 9:30pm, approached in the lobby, at the pool, etc for the timeshare tour.  I couldn't even get a parking pass without having to go through the shtick with the salesman at the "concierge" desk.  Ridiculous!  The place is clean and beautiful and well thought out.  But I booked it through EXPEDIA and did not expect that I would be hounded day and night about the timeshare experience.  One NO should be enough.

Timeshare HELL

So worth it to be a Wyndham owner when you get to stay at thus property. AMAZING STAFF! Location is perfect and all the amenities are to die for. Definitely a great place to ant type of vacation from bussiness  to family or couples. 

Spectacular

They were doing renovations to the main lobby, but there were plenty of signs to let you know where to go and even pictures to let you know what the space would look like afterwards. This was a nice stay. I had a 1 bedroom deluxe and enjoyed all of the amenities that came with the room. The jetted hot tub in the room was a nice addition although there is no privacy to use it if you are sharing the space with someone else. The location is nice as it is only a block from the strip so it is easy to get around. Also, there is shuttle service available to get to the strip. There are plenty of activities available for families. I used the fitness facility in tower one and like the equipment options in there. It was cool and windy during my visit so I didn't get a chance to take advantage of the pool and the cabanas.
