Enjoyed the many amenities of this resort.  It needs a little TLC in some spots, and a little updating, but overall was very relaxing and enjoyable.  Most of the units have great views of the lake, but we are a little older and would have appreciated some hand railings and a little more light down the steps to the unit we were staying in.

Great place to relax and enjoy the lake living experience

Our family had 10 units during June 5-June 10th, 2022.
4 different units had people with bed bug bites. At first we were not sure what was going on, until after the family reunion when we compared notes and bug bites!
Don't book your vacation here at Lakeview Resort.

Bed bugs in units!!

newly remodeled kitchen with all new appliances, good view of the lake with a great indoor hot tub and indoor pool. steps are a pain but that lake living in the ozark hills. the resort is a little far from town,but was perfect for me.

Plumbing was an issue.  Kitchen sink leaked, bathroom sink drained very slowly.  King size bed was on wooden slats, made noise everytime I moved.  Docks covered in spiderwebs.  Otherwise a very enjoyable week.

fishing trip

We stayed at Lakeview Resort from 9-8-21 to 9-15-21.  Following is a review of our stay.  I would not recommend anyone stay in Unit 39 until it has a thorough cleaning and repair of issues.  

Upon arrival the staff was very friendly and accommodating.  We stayed in Unit 39. 
The Unit was the perfect location with views of East and West on the lake.  
Upon arrival at our unit we had to remove cobwebs and spiders to walk through the front door.  
Outlets in both bathrooms do not work.
Deck furniture was covered with cobwebs and spiders on arrive day.  I understand that this can be expected with nature, but I feel on our arrival day this area should have been cleaned for us.  Instead we had to clean before we could use it. 
Kitchen window and counter was infested with ants.  We reported this to management and they came twice to treat but we still were dealing with ants the day we departed.
Floors were filthy dirty, the first day we learned you could not walk in bare feet or with socks on because they would quickly be black with dirt.  
Light bulb burnt out in kitchen.
Moulding on the sliding door on deck was broken loose and hanging off the frame.  We reported this to management on the first day and it was not fixed when we departed. 
Blinds and curtains were filthy disgustingly dirty.
Vents were filthy disgustingly dirty.
Drain in Master bedroom would not work, so I had to get under the sink to release it. 
Bathtub in the second bathroom was rather disgusting, badly stained and didn’t appear clean.

Lakeview Resort stay from 9-8-21 to 9-15-21

We stayed in the Blue Gill cabin from July 24-31 and had a good time. Living room was big enough to seat all of us. Full kitchen allowed us to save money by cooking in a few nights. Issues we encountered: lots of ants in our cabin and "pebble beach" was nicknamed "shard beach" as it was very painful to walk on if you didn't have water shoes. MAKE SURE TO BRING WATER SHOES!
The kids loved all the amenities - game room, indoor and outdoor pools and the volleyball court. We felt comfortable letting our kids roam around in public areas and everyone was nice. 

Overall, good family vacation!

This resort is a perfect family spot on a party lake. The pools are both clean, and the fishing access from shore and docks is first rate. Our cabin was far cleaner than any I have stayed at in Minnesota. Going South, not North from now on. Great family running it.

Great family stay

Family friendly resort. Great views and friendly staff. Loved our cottage. We enjoyed fishing, swimming, and just watching the water. Our cottage sat right by the water. We want to come back in the fall when the temperatures are cooler. You can rent a boat on site, that was handy. Very relaxing.

Quiet relaxing resort.

My family and I have been going to this resort every summer for the last 20yrs. Every year the condition of the rooms and property have got worse and worse. 
The barrier and walkway around the Lake itself are rotting through and are dangerous! The same rooms get worse and worse every year. 
This used to be a nice resort until it switched owners. Now all they care about is making money off of new customers who don't know any better. They also claim to have WiFi but, you have to be within 100 ft of the office to get any signal. This place has really went to pot.

Gone To Pot!

Need to take the COVID more seriously. Staff did not wear mask. Luckily we felt isolated enough and social distance from other guests. Felt we had a safe bubble for the family. Had beautiful weather and family fun.
