We stayed in one of the Deluxe Cabins that back up against the water. Perfect spot!

We walked into town in the morning wearing our suits and carrying towels. Got a coffee and walked around old town, then hit the public hot springs when they opened. 

The Deluxe Cabin has two full beds and a couch, a dining area, kitchen, bathroom with towels, a natural gas grill, natural gas fire, outdoor dining area overlooking the water, and rockers for four. 

We went as a couple, but could see two couples easily enjoying a deluxe cabin if you don’t mind sleeping in the same room. 

Perfectly, conveniently located and very clean.

Perfect walking distance to town

We were just on a quick weekend trip. We pulled in early and they got us right in our spot so we could drop our camper and head out for some exploring. The bathrooms were nice. Campground was clean. If you're a light sleeper, the traffic and trains may keep you awake. Otherwise, excellent place. We'd probably stay here again.  

Very Nice

Prior to our first camping trip, ever, I called the office a few times with some questions. Both times I called , the person answering the phone was very rude. Wasn’t polite and seemed annoyed that I called twice (separate days).

This made me doubt that it was going to be a fun education. Upon arrival; the young man who was at the front desk was very pleasant and accommodating that it made me feel at ease. The rest of our stay was met with friendly store/office clerks.

Would definitely stay there again.

Questionable but was very friendly and accommodating

Ran into a little glitch when we arrived but Rudy and his wife (forgot her name) were very helpful at getting things back to normal.  I would recommend this property.  They are working on some improvements which will enhance the property.

Happy Camper

 We enjoyed our visit in these nice cabins. The back has a very large deck that we had a BBq dinner and a movie with the sound of the river in the background. Nice continuous hot water for a good long shower and lots of parking out front.

Cozy Cabin

management really takes it serious when creating an amazing it environment. So many improvements in the last few years. I love to hear the train from the Thunder Mountain railroad rumble past. I love the river. In the summer of the trees provide amazing shade. Staff is always very helpful and friendly. I have been camping at this KOA for the last two decades. If you don't have it RV, the cabins are very affordable and comfortable.

We really enjoyed the spacious back deck along the river front where we watch the show "The Great Out Doors"  and then opened the windows to the sound of the river as we slept. Nice well equipt cabins with continious hot water for the shower.

Awesome cabin near the river

Very nice campground. Park was nearly vacant but the setting was awesome. We just happened to be there when a storm was moving in. Very close to hot spring pools, you can walk to them. Would love to go back when weather is nicer. We were just passing through for the night.

Great campground

This KOA is located on a River, there are beautiful sites that back up to the river which was still running with some white water in mid-August. Our spot was shady and flat. There is a walking path to downtown from the RV Park. You can walk to the Lava Hot Springs and that is a must for relaxation. You also have a dog park on site for your little travelers. The park is well kept up, green lawn and flowers around. There is a train that does run across the road on the mountain side, it is really kind of interesting to watch it.

Picturesque setting on a river

A lovely campground, and the location is very convenient. Not far from the Hot Pools, and a short walk through Lava to check out the cute shops they have in town. This is a nice place to get away, we will be back later this summer!!
