The staff was so friendly and helpful. Rooms were nice and clean. Beds were very comfortable.overall we had good stay. Location was perfect, close to restaurants. Would definitely recommend a friend. Would love to stay again .

Suburban Studios was a pleasant surprise.  For the cost, my expectations were low.  But I ended up being so happy with my choice and would definitely stay again.  The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean!  The room was large.  Lots of amenities in the room including kitchenette, table with 2 chairs.  The bathroom was also large with a nice hot shower.

Our room was very clean and comfortable; friendly staff. (There was no tissue box; no conditioners in the bathroom; but these are very small items). Many restaurants and stores are nearby. We would stay here again.

I would recommend a additional trash can in the room. The main building should have a entryway to the stairwell instead of walking outside to get to the stairs. Tell the drivers who block the entrance to the driveway move their car. 2 vehicles parked next to the building by the laundry room. This is a safety hazard. Have travel ads in the entryway. Had a great stay, great view, and would stay again. 

Good experience, but a few things could be improved. 

Very friendly staff, very clean, nice hot water in the shower! I will definitely stay again at this place!!  Very quiet area,  pillows was a little uncomfortable but not bad .very nice and clean ,nice stove, refrigerator, microwave oven in the room 

My stay

I'm located in the back of motel 6, every night the light that lights up the back of the hotel hasn't been on almost every night for the past 3nights. There is elderly people that live back here and the woods is directly in the back, I'm a smoker so i smoke my cigs outside by choice and its always pitch black when i know there is working lights. people who live here should also be treated like a guest, the priority of getting a job done in a room when u live here is like pulling teeth. and for the guy whos working the office right now , turn the lights on for peoples safety.

Once again, we find any reviews from people with one contribution. I always discount these as I feel they are friends, staff, or enemies that blog to affect the ratings. In this case, 5 out of 10 reviews are by first-time reviewers. Four of the reviews are 5 stars and one is a 1 star. That proves my point. Friends or enemies. As the ratings indicate a 3-star motel, it hasn't worked very well.
This location is no better than a 3-star motel. Nothing more. My wife insists it's only a 2 star.  It's an older building and needs maintenance. You can smell smoke in the elevator and hallways. 
The front sign advertises $52 per night but they never seem to have that room available. We were charged $67.
 There is an eclectic group of characters that were staying at this location. We had two guys playing Mexican music and practicing bronco roping (think Rodeo) in the parking lot and a long-haired biker jump-starting a car owned by a tattooed lady.
They are practicing COVID separation in the office, which was good.
The elevator had something spilled or smeared on the floor. Not sure what it was but it was nasty for sure.
THE ROOM: 
30" flat-screen TV
8 premium channels (one Spanish), which is nice. One issue with the TV: It started raining and they lost the satellite signal. It didn't come back on for a couple of hours.
The room appeared to be clean but I accidentally spilled some water of the tile floor (dark vinyl tile) and wiped it up with a towel. The towel came up black. What does that tell you?

Simple, gracious and respectful. Nancy was friendly, professional and, simply, top-notch. Amazing bed and everything you need for an overnight stay in the gorgeous mountains of MD  Definitely recommended!!

Amazing Staff, Great Spot

Front desk staff is excellent, specially Nancy. Room was Clean and confortable. We will be back. Nice place to visit summer and winter. Shopping center and places to eat are just steps away. Beautiful place

My wife and I stayed two nights at the Motel 6. We were greeted by the front desk associate Sandra. Her personality and professionalism were outstanding! She made us feel beyond welcome and even called our room to make sure everything was sufficient. The room was very clean and smelled wonderful. Our housekeeper was a gentleman named Will and we were happy to fill out the comment card thanking him for such a delightfully clean and fresh room. Our stay was quiet yet cozy. Our only complaint would have been the rudeness of the daytime front desk associate Amee (spelling may be incorrect). She was not nearly as welcoming as Sandra or the dark haired lady that we'd see in the evenings. We would highly recommend this location to other travelers. We will be staying here again towards the end of August. Keep up the great work Motel 6!
