This place was filthy. Changed rooms as the air was not working. I couldn't even describe the smell in the second room. Pool was not working. Curtains were dirty and ratty, bedspread was dirty, vent in the bathroom was filthy, carpet was stained and dirty. Water left in the coffee pot from previous traveler. Was so very disappointed as this is the only hotel chain I like to stay in

This hotel had easy access off of I-80 which is what I needed for the night.  The room was clean and comfortable, this is the only place I have stayed lately that still had carpet in the rooms.  Pool was super cold- like straight out of the garden hose.  Breakfast selection was smaller than usual.  Hotel lobby ceiling had water damage, stairwells needed vacuumed- they haf lots of dirt / debris.  Hall and room carpet MUCH better kept.

Ok for 1 night

this is the nastiest thing i’ve ever been in. i went with my friends and we found blood, poop streaks, pee stains, and rubbed mascara on the sheets. we had to order a new bedsheets, and they had stains on them too and it was the only one they have left. it looks nothing like the pictures in the bed that we guy is about to collapse. never stay here! the pool is also disgusting.

horrible hotel 

We booked 5 rooms for a group outing.  Every room smelled musty and moldy.   Windows were full of condensation. We opened windows for hours and it still smelled horrible.  Sliding glass doors in one room were so dirty you couldn't see through the glass.  Our rooms were booked 4 months in advance and were over $200/rm.  As they were the only rooms left in town (Husker game day) we took them.  Stay away for your health.  YIKES!  Cant believe this place is still open.

health issue - should be closed down

orst hotel ever!   August 27, 2022 was a nightmare thanks to the 3rd shift person at this hotel!   The first few things, I tried to forget, but the last incident has no excuse!  I checked in to find my door jarred open.  I went back to the desk and was told it was the only room available on the first floor, so I lived with it.  Traveling alone with a dog, so security is important.  Next, I went to get ice and found mold in the ice bucket and lid.  Took it back to the front desk and was handed a new one with the comment "hope this one works."  Again, I moved on.  I asked the young lady at the desk for restaurants within walking distance.  She sent me to one that had closed in 2021.  Again, I moved on.  Just staying here as I travel cross county.  I woke up at 330 am to continue my trip and as I walked my dog through the lobby, there was no one at the desk.  I took the dog out for a potty break and when I returned to my room, the key wouldn't work.  I went back to the desk and still, no one was there.  I started saying "hello, hello, is anyone back there?" Still, no one was around.  I then took my dog to the car and went back to the hotel and started knocking on the back office door.  At this point, I had been awake for 45 minutes and was 15 minutes behind on leaving Lincoln for my next destination.  Still, no one was at the desk.  I started to raise my voice and bang on the back office door.  I then started walking around the first floor looking for someone, anyone.  Mind you, its the middle of the night at an interstate property, so I was starting to be concerned.  My phone was in the room.  I attempted to use the front desk phone to call the police since it could have been possible that something happened to the 3rd shift employee.  FINALLY, a man with glasses emerged from the back office and you could see he had been sleeping.  I was frantic and stated what had been going on.   He actually said he had only been gone for a few minutes which is a lie.  He also said my key was from a different Comfort Inn.  I explained that I was given 2 keys at check in and this was one of them.  To be honest, even if I had a key from a Hilton, someone should have been at the front desk.  This is a requirement for all brands or at least a note stating that someone will be right back, maybe a bell??  Not sure, but for over 45 minutes, there was no coverage at the front desk of this hotel.  This is the point that I asked for some sort of discount for what I had just experienced and that if he couldn't help me, I would be calling Choice's Customer Service Department.  The man said he was checking me out with no charges.  I was now 40 minutes late for my trip, I was crying and very upset.  I gathered my things and put them in my car and turned in my keys.  I didn't receive an email folio of charges and the authorization fell off my card, so I believed the man and then, on September 1st, the charge appeared on my card.  I called the hotel and left a message for someone to call me back, but they never did, so I've called Choice directly in regards to the $131.97 charge that I was told would be waived due to the 3rd shift man with round glasses not doing his job and creating a possible security issue and for ruining my stay.  The other things were little, but I should have known that if a place is managed this poorly, that more things would happen.  Avoid this hotel; especially if you plan to leave in the middle of the night.  Hopefully, the corporate office will help me, or I'll be calling AMEX.  Never in all of my years of travel has something like this happened. I wouldn't have even given this place one star, but you have to rate them to post!

Worst Hotel and 3rd shift person on the planet!

If you just need a bed to sleep in for the night, this is your spot. Outdated and not the cleanest hotel we’ve ever stayed. No tub just a shower with limited water pressure. Dirty carpet in room and halls. Adequate breakfast. Only one fast food restaurant at this exit. Lots of hotels some which were in very obvious disarray.

Just a bed

We had been traveling from our winter home to our summer home in ND.  We were pulling a trailer and had traveled for about 9 hours when we arrived to this very disappointing stay.  We often stay in Choice Hotel properties and this was the poorest stay for many years.  The parking lot was difficult to navigate with a trailer as it had only one way in and out and very little space to turn around.  We were exhausted from our drive and I had to wait for about 15 minutes waiting to check in as the desk staff attempted to try and help two young gentleman who were looking to find an extended stay hotel and had no intention of being a guest at this hotel.  After these gentleman left he assisted another guest who had arrived there while I was standing and waiting and wanted change for vending machines.  When I finally did get checked in we were assigned a room on the second floor at the far end of  the hall.  Why?  There were hardly any guests.  The hotel was badly in need of updates and could have been cleaner.  The door to our room did not close well so I always had to check to see if the door latched.  The room was adequate. Temperature was good and easy regulate.  Water was hot for shower if you turned it to the highest setting and there were enough towels. Our room was clean and bedding was comfortable.  It was easy to reach this hotel from the Interstate.  It is located in an area where there is a cluster of hotels  but the entire area is run down and not kept up very well.  There are few places to eat in the immediate area so we had to settle for McDonalds which was within walking distance, but had to take our bag to our room as their dining room closed at 7 and we got there at 7:08 pm.  The price was reasonable for the room, but as I mentioned in the title you get what you pay for.  We will look for other accommodations when we pass through the area again.

Sometimes you get what you pay for

We had problems booking while driving so we went to the hotel.  The price they charged was more than listed price.
The room was "ok", but could have been cleaner.  The sheets had stains on them.   There were hairs in the bathroom that didn't belong to us.
We are Choice Rewards members and didn't receive our points for staying here.

Not the best stay

We went out of our way to book for rewards. This hotel was over priced because it was extremely run down.  The side door by room 119 did not close which is a major safety issue as anyone could walk in. There were stains throughout the room. There were ants and millipedes in the bathroom. No more caulk or plaster can be used to fix issues. The tub leaked which created the perfect breeding ground for insects. The window was falling out of the frame. This hotel was gross and unsafe. Rethinking rewards w/ this chain as I can't trust pulling off the highway for a decent hotel.

Dirty and unsafe

Disgusting. Thin walls, trash in the hallway, elevator stank of cigarette smoke. The water was brown and smelled of Sulphur. Do not subject yourself to this place.

The only redeeming quality was that the bed was comfortable.

Comfort inn should not have their name on this place.
