Avoid at all cost! Absolutely horrible experience! Did not even stay. Had to dispute charges and won! I could not even park in the lot do to trash and old trailers. Nobody even mans the office. Owner is very rude and hung up on me. Not worth the one ⭐ option.

I wish I could recommend this small motel, but I cannot.  I wish I would have paid attention to the other reviews and stayed elsewhere.

Pros:
- room is clean

Cons:
- paper thin walls.  I can hear everything the neighbors are saying in a normal talking voice
- reaks of cigarette smoke.  People smoking outside my open window.
- room is very stark.  No place to hang or set anything. Everything is painted white with no decor.  Feels "institutional"
- exterior looks very rough.  Weeds growing everywhere through the parking lot. There is a derelict cargo trailer and broken down van that have been sitting there a very long time
- they seem to go out of their way not to interact with guests.  Everything sent via text or email.  Even going to the office during published business hours, nobody was there.  

Sadly cannot recommend. 

You get what pay for I guess, but first a motel should never have gray sheets or towels because that means they are trying to hide stains, hairs, etc, second your housekeeper should know how to do laundry and should never ever put bleached stained linens and towels in rooms. we went home a night early. train that young girl and get rid of her. that made my visit not so great because you see that and wonder what else is wrong in this plain little room.

While it has been recently remodeled with nice paint and fixtures, the room was extremely basic. We had a two queen bed room that if you sat on the foot of one bed, the head of the bed would pop up. That bed was wiggly and we decided to use the other bed.

The amenities advertised were mostly great, the Wi-Fi was solid, rooms were clean, and they appear to be pet friendly (we did not bring a pet). But the ocean view is a fraud. I have included a photo from the walkway in front of the room. It has been decades since the ocean could be seen from this facility.

Our room did not have much furniture, except two bed frames and a stand for hanging jackets on. No towel racks in the bathroom, but a hook by the shower, so plan to drape your towels wherever to dry.

The staff was friendly, although it took some time to get into our room as we arrived after the office closed and with recent upgrades to the smart deadbolts, it still took almost 15-20 minutes of waiting outside our room to gain access.

Overall, I have stayed in at least 15 other motels/hotels in Lincoln City over the years and this is a location I do not plan to visit again.

As an aside, their website has old information on it (join us for the solar eclipse that happened in 2017), so be wary they do not have photos of their rooms or the “ocean view” on their site.

Barely passionless, definitely “no frills,” but also no view of the ocean in years

Last minute beach trip. I was exhausted and stopped into the office see if there was a room available. The young lady, Haley, at the desk was so friendly. She was able to accommodate a great room. The room was super clean and cute.

I was impressed at the cleanliness of room and the friendly office gal and the housekeeper. It was quiet and comfortable for the price. I would for sure stay at The Sea Echo again, and thank you for making my trip to Lincoln City, a pleasurable one! See you next time!

Great Experience!!!!

Sea Echo Motel charged my credit card 3 times, which we found out a couple hours after checkout, we called the Sea Echo and the person said they would reimburse our account, it’s been 4 days and they still have not done so, they do not answer my phone calls and the email is fake, be careful about staying there.

Credit Card Scam

First, Jenni was very lovely and helpful during our stay.
However, the room left much to be desired. You could tell that someone had started to remodel the area, but it was far from being completed. There are new linoleum type hardwood floors, but they are cleaned with something that leaves them very sticky. We showered with our flip flops on in the bath tub. And worst of all, there were what seemed like live wires sticking out of the wall next to the bed. We put our trash can in front of it so that our dog wouldn't bump into it and hoped for the best. Also, despite being a non-smoking motel, the entire place smelled like the 60s.

Would avoid if possible

It is no where near the ocean.  It is on a steep hill to drive into parking lot.  There is no air conditioner or fan.  The shower curtain was falling apart and had black mold on it.  It bummed us out so much that we booked this motel without first seeing it.  It is highly overpriced for what poor shape it is in and has nothing to offer.  Beware before booking this place.

The only good thing I can say is it was close to the casino but not the closest. Floors were soft in places. Cleaning was minimal. Not even a chair or lamp in the room. No wastebasket in the bathroom. Shower was small but passable. Had we not booked with Travelocity, non refundable, we would have never stayed there once we saw it. Also entrance was less then desirable.
