Really nice stay enjoyed that there was a little living room when you first come in and that was really nice they have a nice place to roast marshmallows with the family. We have a very pleasant stay.

Great stay very clean

You'll see a lot of reviews for Anchor Inn describing it as a "hidden gem" and that's how we feel about it, too! We needed lodging for a night that offered two separate sleeping areas and called to confirm that the staterooms offered this, and they definitely do. The bedroom (king bed) is separated from the living room (sofa bed) by the door and the bathroom, so even though the rooms aren't huge, they feel spacious. 

There is a little kitchenette area with a mini fridge and coffeemaker, and each room has a smart TV. The bed was really comfortable and our room was quiet. No, the shower isn't huge, but it is clean with great water pressure. 

Self check-in was easy and the app worked perfectly. We loved walking around this quaint little place and are going to stay again on our next Lincoln City trip - but for multiple nights this time!

Charming Place to Stay in Lincoln City

My friend and I were exploring the Oregon coast and decided late in the evening that we wanted to spend an extra day before heading to her home in Corvallis. There was very little available on such short notice in our price range especially as we are friends, not a couple, and preferred having a bit of space & privacy. We called a half dozen places and were about to give up when we saw the vacancy sign at the Anchor Inn and called. Sure enough they had a "cabin" available and the price was reasonable. It was a very charming suite with a tiny kitchenette and an additional small bedroom - so absolutely perfect for our needs. The new manager was friendly and patient when we could not make the bluetooth key system work and made us a regular key card. We adored the retro-kitschy decor, vintage art, & old-school details like original tile and wood paneling -- it reminded me of the cottages we used to rent on the NC coast when I was a child. Best of all, our room included a s'mores kit to enjoy at one of the many outdoor fire pits on the grounds. Such a fun way to wind down from a busy day. Would definitely return and recommend to others!

We stayed here for a family reunion with over 60 people.  We loved it.  The rooms are a bit dated, but very comfortable and clean.  They have several gas fire pits, cornhole, close by access to the beach, dedicated large group meeting rooms, back patio.  We had a great time.

Great place for corporate retreat or family reunion

Great location if you have dogs...one level, cute courtyard, comfortable rooms, hot water and good water pressure.  The onsite restaurant was so accommodating....our son was getting engaged and we were on a tight timeline.  A few hickups with the "no key" system but they were great.  Highly recommend.  Easy walk to the beach with great breakfast spots within walking distance.

Just an awesome time and stay in a hotel that is reasonable priced nice staff and clean
amenities like free laundry use and with free soap (are u kidding me?)  
a pop and candy and ice cream stash that is on the honor system (with a cameras view lol)
game room  ample parking close to otis cafe  yumm

I took my mother for a 3 day vacation in Lincoln City and we chose to stay at The Anchor Inn. Our expectations were exceeded in every regard. The phone app for accessing your room is very convenient and pretty cool. The courtyard is so nice and well maintained. The smores kits and fire pits are such a fun touch. The pizza at The Wheelhouse was so so good. Great proximity to the beach and area businesses. Will definitely stay again next time I'm in the area.

Wonderful Place to Stay

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by this charming boutique hotel. We were warned by the owner that the hotel was older but remodeled. We found it
 to be extremely clean with high quality towels, bedding and mattress. We were happy to learn there was a separate sitting area with a couch bed too. The grounds are kitchy and fun. The bar had great drinks and yummy pizza. The south end location is close enough to walk to coffee, lunch or dinner. We would definitely stay here again.

Exceeded expectations

If you are looking for luxury, this might not be your place. But if you’re looking for simple, clean with friendly staff then book a room here! Yes the walk to the beach is a little further than some people might like, but it never says ocean front property. The walk was not bad at all. If my French bulldog can do it so can you. Really wonderful place. We will be back.

Would definitely go back

I love the rustic setup of the room and the area and even the contactless check in.. however, I noticed that the tiles in the restroom and shower are moldy... also I found a long strand of blonde hair on the bed as I was laying on it (I have black hair). An outlet in the bedroom not working which is not a big deal but I think they should work more on the cleanliness...
