This was the perfect place to chill and re-set after a long drive.  Alice and her dog Sally were gracious hosts, the cabin (certainly not a Marriott for all the right reasons) was spotlessly clean, the bed and bedding super comfy and the view from our deck was spectacular at sunrise! Truly a fun and relaxing experience.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Lincolnville Motel!  It is exactly as we expected from the photos - our cabin was very clean and nicely decorated.  We loved swimming in the pool which was not busy at all.  The common areas are beautiful and we loved having coffee on the deck.  Our cabin looked small on the outside but was absolutely perfect, with a nice bathroom and spacious deck to sit on in the evening.  We really liked that this location was pet friendly and that we were able to book for just one night.  The area is also very nice to explore. Will definitely be back!

Perfect spot!

Great overnight stay at a unique place. I stayed in the "Honeymoon" cabin without my honey (oh well); it looked similar to the other cabins (maybe just a bit bigger and a little more private) so I probably wouldn't pay extra next time. Still, prices are very reasonable for an expensive area. Amenities are basic: No A/C in the cabins (but very powerful fans) and no TV (you won't miss it). Great pool for a refreshing swim. Great beds. It's definitely a hipster kind of place, but they welcome you just the same even if you aren't that cool hahaha. Highly recommended!

Mainely Wonderful

Primitive cabin with small rustic bathroom located in a natural setting. Cabins have refrigerators, no TV’s and limited WiFi.  You may not be able to connect to the internet, but your mobile devices will be charged and ready to go with the 6 usb outlets provided on the nightstands.

Alice genuinely cares about her property and your satisfaction.  In the morning, we walked up to the office for complimentary coffee.  The charming town of Camden is less than a 5 mile drive where we had a delicious breakfast at the Mariner’s Restaurant served by the owner of 40 years!

The Lincolnville Motel is simple and basic, with galvanized pipe curtain rods and a white towel doormat … this may be the organic experience you’re looking for.

Alice (the owner) values simplicity.

My partner and I recently spent four nights at the Lincolnville Motel, and we were sad that we couldn't stay longer! The property is beautifully designed, very clean, and has so many thoughtful touches. If you want a summer camp-like experience, with all of the creature comforts (nice bedding and luxury bath products), this is the place for you. The property offers a pool filled with super fun floaties, sauna, fire pit, and plenty of comfy outdoor seating (with ocean views).  Alice, the owner, is the perfect host and really makes you feel welcome.  We can't wait to go back!!

Best place to stay!

Delightful small cabin, beautifully and simply finished... Just lovely! Spotlessly clean one room cottage with shower and sea facing deck... Each with a globe, books and records! There's a pool and firepit for those who want them... A hipster's paradise! 

So charming

This is an old 1950’s style motel with a main building and some cabins that the owner has completely refreshed. I had booked the Cozy Cabin online for $87.20. What a fun place! In the cabins the ceilings were removed to open up the cabins to the roof and then all was painted white giving the feeling of a larger space. The bed was great, awesome local art on the walls, a desk and stool, fine bathroom. But my favorite was the old little suitcase style phonograph complete with a few LPs for listening (and I did!). Also a few books and a globe. I don’t know why but I loved that extra touch. In the common area in the main building there are a ton of LPs you can take to your cabin in case you want to add to the small selection there. The common area seemed a nice place to hang out. There was also an area that would offer coffee in the morning (but I went ahead and just hit the road the next day). They also have an outdoor pool (wrong season for me) and a dry sauna (for a fee). I will be back!

Fun Place to Stay!

Taking from the aphorism of an architect's  Less is more , here is the place of its perfect expression. Elegance, simplicity, quality of both the bedding and bathroom products, all offered with the kindness of both Alice and Mary; I keep this address precious for my later stays. The hosts of this charming little motel will have been remarkable for their availability while Hurricane Dorian interfered with my vacation plans. Thank you both!

The Luxury of Simplicity

We needed one night's accommodations for my wife, my 18 year old son, and myself. We were able to book a motel room with a Queen size bed and a sofa sleeper, for which we were grateful. 
Overall, a very nice place, and staff was friendly and accommodating! I would have no hesitation recommending this motel.
However, I should warn that the room becomes quite small when the sofa bed is in use. To the point that I had to crawl (or make a large up and over step) to get past the end of the sofa bed from my side of the queen bed - the two touched at an angle. Also, the toilet is in a quite small bathroom - had to sit at a slight angle to fit. To be fair, we are not the smallest people around (my son and I are 6'1") 
I do not hold any ill will towards the proprietors on these points - they clearly were making great efforts to provide in the older building footprints (and the room was well kept, too!)

Great for two adults, bit crowded for three...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night while on a quick road trip down the coast of Maine. We loved it! We booked the Classic Cabin. The best and pillows were comfortable. This is not a luxury stay by any means. There is no TV, which we loved. There was no AC, but we were fine sleeping with the windows open. Fans are provided in each room but we didn't need it. The cabin is small and you have the essentials- everything is no frills- though the provided MALIN+GOETZ amenities in the rooms were a very nice touch.

The grounds are very nice. Our room had a nice deck with chairs and great views of the ocean. The common areas are lovely and beautifully decorated. There is great coffee in the mornings and tea/Nespresso available 24/7. The pool looks nice, but it was a bit too cool for us to enjoy it.

There are games in the common room as well as a fire pit that you can use and some grills. I'm sure that can be really fun to take advantage of if you are staying longer.

This is a great spot to unplug and relax. We want to come back!
