We loved Glenmoor! From the moment we arrived - the welcome, atmosphere and small touches blew us away. Millicent, one of the owners was there to greet us and was so kind and genuine (which was very welcome after our 12hr drive from Toronto!) She recommended the best places to eat and things to do that were tailored to our specific interests. While obviously having a background in hospitality, her genuine love for her job and hometown/state were evident. This in turn, made our experience so great. The warm and fresh breakfast baskets were delicious and prompt, the rooms very clean and spacious. The water is a short walk down the end of the property and all staff encountered were lovely. Aesthetics were modern and updated yet fit in perfectly with the Maine coastal vibe. We will 100% return and recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing time away. Thanks again, Millicent & co!

Glenmoor by the Sea is awesome! We loved the location, the size of our cottage, the fireplace, ceiling fan, porch, pool, delivered breakfast, views, & all amenities. It was the perfect place to stay!

I just wish I could give more . There’s not a single reason to find fault at any stage . The hosts are just the best, staff all polite and helpful .
I’m getting older now but will be making every effort to return here 2024.

It’s just the best

Such a wonderful, comfortable and convenient spot for our family of three. We stayed two nights in a two bedroom cottage close to the lobby building and fire pit area but we also had a view of the water from our living area and porch. The owners were welcoming and helpful and the homemade breakfast baskets delivered to our cottage were fantastic!

Peaceful and Picturesque Stay

My husband had booked this place to stay for vacation and to celebrate my Birthday..He could not have picked a more beautiful place, everything was perfect, the views overlooking our cabin were magnificent..The grounds are meticulously taken care of. Our cabin was so cozy and the bed was so comfortable..Breakfast was delicious and it was a joy to have it brought right to our room. Staff were so wonderful and so accommodating..Can’t wait to go back again..I give this place 5 Stars..

Beautiful place to stay..

An absolute hidden gem!!  

Found Glenmoor by the Sea on the internet and am so glad we did.  The Cottage was very clean, comfy bed, very nice sitting/TV area, table for eating and outdoor deck with chairs and a table. Just perfect!!

 We woke up to a beautiful sunrise and absolute delicious breakfast delivered right to the room still warm. The staff were so friendly and professional, you felt like family.  Walked in to check in and the lobby smelled of fresh bake cookies and they were there on the desk for the taking.  

I did see different activities on site (horseshoes, cornhole, Tennis, BBQ grill etc.) and 2 pools. (We only stayed one night so we did not use any of these)

Without a doubt I would stay here again and refer anyone I know if coming to this area to stay here. This was our first time to coastal Maine and Glenmoor made it perfect!!

An absolute hidden gem!!

Ok, so this place is great. So great that I almost hate leaving a review cause I want to keep it all to myself. My two boys and I stayed here for 3 nights in October. They have cottages, motel rooms and I think rooms in the main building. We stayed in one of the motel rooms and it was fantastic. I can’t even imagine how wonderful the cottages are.  Normally I would list the pros and cons but all I can think of are pros. Check in was super easy. Room was spacious with a deck with distant water views. Bed was comfy. Perfect water pressure in shower. Bathroom had a wonderful heat source that was much appreciated on chilly mornings. They had lawn games, a giant fire pit and it was an easy 5 minute walk to a beautiful, rocky beach.  Breakfast was delicious and delivered each morning at a time you specify at check in. Simply lovely!

Here is the one negative - the sign to the property is not lighted and there are no street lights on the road so if you are arriving at night it is very easy to sail right on by.  Other than that small thing…perfect!!

The best!

We rented an oceanfront cottage and the view is spectacular.   The cottages are not large, but are larger than a good size hotel room with a living area, bathroom and bed and a small dining table.  It is impeccably decorated and very clean.  The staff here is friendly and helpful with anything you might need.  The breakfast they deliver to your room every morning is a really nice touch.  We celebrated our 30 year anniversary here and they made us feel like family.  At night it is so quiet here.  All you hear is the waves from the sea.  When we return to Maine this is where we will stay again.  

A Wonderful, Peaceful Stay

We loved this resort. We will return asap. Millicent was so easy to talk to. We love family run businesses. The person who stated WE WOULD FLY TO MAINE JUST TO STAY HERE, was spot on. The sunrise was amazing!

AMAZING

This cozy resort is one of my top favorite places ever! The full effect of fall is here and our room has a perfect view! Breakfast…… homemade, fresh, HOT, and delicious! We met friends from the West coast here and we are from the Midwest!
