Had reservations set up for October and I received a text saying they don't accept 3rd party payment. I had booked this through booking.com, two month ago. Paid in full and when I called they said they gave my reservation away to someone else. I will never use this hotel again. And would recommend no one else use this place either. Terrible customer service, even if they don't accept 3rd party payment they should still hold the reservation so I can pay in person the day of as they say you can.

Terrible hotel!! DO NOT USE!!!

This hotel uses an unethical business practice. It doesn't respect reservations, takes walks-in instead (to avoid fees and to get a better price), and makes clients pay penalties for the service that they don't provide when the rooms get sold out under a "no show" label. 

This is what happened to us on April 10th, 2021. We were told that the hotel was unable to respect our reservation. While we were sitting in the lobby to find another place to stay, two men walked into the reception desk. They also had the reservation and at first, the receptionist told them the same thing: sold out. But when the men complained she found a room for them and gave it to them. In sum, not only did the receptionist (Kristie) disregard our reservation, resulting in 20 miles ride to another hotel in the middle of the night, but she also lied to us that hotel Oyo doesn't have a room available. And on top of this, we were charged a penalty for "no show"! The receptionist also threatened to call the police if we don't leave the lobby before 10 pm while we sitting on the couch and searching for a replacement hotel. 

It is hard to imagine anything more unethical business model and less friendly service in the hospitality industry. Avoid this place.

Unethical business-model and unfriendly service

Quite disgusted by the hotel's business practices - Basically a place trying to milk the "online reservation" cow and the "better paying" walkin' cows. We had a reservation made through booking.com for April 10. We added a comment that we would check in at 7 PM or later. At 8PM we had not reach the hotel yet. We called to reconfirm that we would be there before the reception's closing time - "No problem". When we arrived at 9:30 we were told that our reservation would not be honored, as they decided to fill the rooms with walkins as opposed to honoring reservations they previously confirmed. Christie the receptionist also told us that we would be charged for no-show - thanks for the heads-up" but we can "fight it" with OYO directly. Now Oyo is refusing to refund us for "no-show" - although we were there to check in, 30 min before closure, and in the end had to drive 25 miles out of the town to sleep in an hotel.

Bad hospitality Practices !

My trip was for my 4yr old sons funeral. They put me in an adjoining room . Someone tried to get in my room. Staff was rude when confronted about my concerns. I checked out a day early. They wouldn’t refund my money or even try to put me in a room without adjoining doors. There were bugs. I knew my trip wasn’t going to be fun but staying there was unbearable. This trap house would have been perfect back in my hay days. And the women of the night were top notch

This hotel is trash. Such a ripoff.

Too tired to keep going...I made the mistake of choosing this dump. I knew there would be problems when during check-in I noticed a sign on the window that read...”You will be charged for any blood found on the sheets.” Next hint was being charged...a deposit of $40.00 which 5 days later has yet to appear on my credit card. Before you are allowed to check out...your room is inspected for damages. Jeeeez! 
Rooms are old and outdated. This property should have been demolished 20 years ago. Don’t trust the reviews. Don’t make the mistake I did by staying here.
