SO DISSAPPOINTING!!!  We have stayed at the Anniversary Inn in SLC, UT, but this was our 1st time in Logan.  We stayed in "Aphrodites Court" and WILL  NOT BE RETURNING.  Website stated it was a "King Bed" room...it was a Queen.  There was a 10 INCH STEP down into the bathroom, creating a very dangerous "middle of the night" trip to the bathroom...the BREAKFAST WAS THE WORST!!! I have had better Continental Breakfasts!!!  And it certainly did not meet the $300 (after taxes/fees) ROOM RATE!!!  DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!!!

HORRIBLE!!!

e have been going to the anniversary Inn for years and really enjoyed it in the past. However this year it has changed so much. You pay so much for the rooms and they are cool but the soda in the machine was flat. The breakfast is not the same at all. They didn't bring us ice when we asked. The popcorn was 15 minutes late and the breakfast was 15 minutes early. They used to serve breakfast on real plates now it's half the size and all plastic. They forgot the butter and jam for my biscuits and they no longer have flavored creamer. The eggs seem like the powder eggs you get from a contiinental breakfast. Very disappointing.

Not good for what you pay.

TL;DR: We enjoyed our stay at the Southern Comfort room and would come here again to try the other rooms out. 8/10

My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and we had been to the Anniversary Inn in Salt Lake City before, so we wanted to see if there were other inns and what other rooms they might offer. My husband likes to surprise me with what's in the room, so he only told me to pick from a list of names and I chose the Southern Comfort (being that I'm from the south).

Check-in was pretty simple, but this Anniversary Inn is structured differently than the SLC one. The SLC one is just one building with all the rooms inside, where as this one is multiple buildings that would differ depending on your room. For the one that we had chosen, we had to drive to a nearby, but separate parking lot that might've not been as clearly labeled as it should've been. We did take a picture of the map though at the front desk, which helped. With out room choice, it set us on the third floor with an outdoor staircase. The stairs weren't bad for us, especially since we travelled light, but if you have heavy luggage or struggle to get upstairs, we didn't see any elevator access. 

The room itself was amazing and actually quite bigger than the one we previously stayed at (The Meadow at SLC). It was appropriately themed (more for New Orleans south, but that's not a bad thing) and even had some entertainment activities. There was nice couples seating in quite a few places were we could eat or watch movies. We did ask if they had a bluray player in the room and they said yes, so we brought our own movie from home to watch. They do offer some movies at the check-inn building, but I recommend bringing your own. Though, just like the other place we stayed at, it has a fridge, but no microwave. That's really the only thing missing from these rooms. They do offer hot breakfast items, but it's nice being able to microwave leftovers as well. The breakfast was good though, albeit too small for my husband to be filled. 

The shower and tub in the room were great. The shower was walk-in and deep, even having a place to sit. The shower really needs some hand rails or non-slip mats though, because it is very slippery inside, both of us almost falling, including the sitting area. Towels can help, but if you aren't stable on your feet this could be hazardous. The tub was able to fit both of us and be quite deep. It's a little tricky to get into, but it has many features that were fun to use and relaxing. If you're short though, this tub doesn't have a great way to keep you upright without sliding further into the water. My husband is tall though and enjoyed the extra length for his legs. 

I won't post pictures of the room so they can be a surprise to others like how I was surprised, but this one we feel is just a little bit better than the Anniversary Inn in SLC, but only in some ways. Both are still good though and we'd recommend either of them!

Great for a Weekend Getaway!

** Do not stay here!!**

First of all, let me begin by saying I'm not the type of person who writes negative reviews unless they are warranted. The following is the email I sent to the innkeeper about our experience:

"Recently my wife and I stayed at the Anniversary Inn (Logan, Hawaiian room) to celebrate our anniversary. Our experience was a little lackluster, and I wanted to reach out to talk to you about it. We left a message with the front office staff to have you contact us, but so far, we haven't heard anything.

We stayed one night from 06/07/2024 to 06/08/2024. Because it was our anniversary, we decided to splurge and pay for some of the upgrades on top of the $279 base rate (not cheap!). We paid for early check-in and arrived shortly after 3 pm. The office staff did not know if our room was ready and made us wait while they physically walked over to inspect it. We also paid $40 for the date night upgrade. The staff told us to choose our items from the adjoining room, and we scheduled a time for popcorn delivery. To their credit, the staff delivered the popcorn on time.
We were disappointed with the quality of this upgrade for $40, as it appeared to be a single bag of microwave popcorn dumped into an aftermarket popcorn bucket. As for the items, we selected a bath bomb (fairly good quality... 5$ value max.) Two boxes of candy, (these were the same kind found at the dollar store), and two diet cokes (both of which we later discovered were flat and expired...by the way, check the rest of your fridge).

When we arrived at the room, the decor was pleasant, but there were some other issues with the room. The light above the bed had a flickering lightbulb (the bulb on the side closest to the door) that turned on and off the entire time. Also, the chain for the ceiling fan was missing, making it inoperable. When we walked into the bathroom area, we discovered a bottle of chemical cleaner that had been left on the counter by the sink and a used bar of soap in the shower which had not been discarded. As a side note, the shower design is terrible and leaks water all over the floor. Also, the wand/showerhead attachment did not work. On the wall, there was only one robe. We tried to call the front desk three times to let them know to come pick up the cleaner and to notify them about the robe so they didn't think we took it. No one ever answered so I walked the cleaner back to the front desk myself and told them about the robe.

Finally, as I'm sure you are aware when morning rolled around, we did not get any breakfast. After waiting 30 minutes past our scheduled delivery time (and attempting to fruitlessly call again), I walked to the front desk where I was told the entire kitchen staff had walked out. I was told arrangements were being made to work on the breakfast problem but it would be sometime before anything would be prepared. We had other plans and had scheduled our breakfast so that we could eat and check out shortly after. We ended up checking out and going elsewhere for breakfast."

A few hours after sending this email, I received a response from the Innkeeper who began the email by saying, "Hello Sharon..."

I am not Sharon. My wife is not Sharon. We don't have Sharon as a middle name, nor do we own any pets named Sharon. It was clear this was a cut/paste response instead of an individual reply.

The innkeeper offered to "refund the the add-ons" and then offered us 15% off our next stay.

Wait a minute, what?? Refunding the add-ons was a nice start but we didn't get BREAKFAST at our bed and BREAKFAST and the best you can do is offer us 15% off the next time WE give YOU money???

I replied and suggested a 50% refund since the innkeeper couldn't take the time to send us an individual email. To date, the innkeeper has not replied again and we have not received any type of refund.

Save yourselves the headache and stay somewhere else. If even ONE person changes their mind because of this review, it will cost the innkeeper more in a lost reservation than it would have to work with us on a partial refund.

**Don't do it. Don't stay here!**

Billiards, movies, jetted tub for 2, soda, popcorn. This is our 5 time in this suite. This is the best time together away from everything 

Romantic fun getaway

Some of my issues are ongoing, meaning that I've shared them many times over the years in surveys like this. They include maintenance/repair issues such as light bulbs that are not working which haven't been replaced in several years and furnishings that are broken or non-functioning, such as the missing shower control handle during our last stay, and the LED lights that seemed like a fun idea, but didn't work, to concerns with amenities, such as food and those "extras" that made the stay "extra" special, such as the discontinued included cheesecake and chocolates. While continuing to provide a Martinelli bottle is nice and appreciated, discontinuing to put it on ice is another evidence of lowered quality.
During this most recent visit, we were especially disappointed that the breakfast menu changed -assumedly due to economizing, but the quality is greatly diminished too. We missed the included yogurt parfait and we mostly missed having the ham and cheese croissant option. The egg frittata wasn't that good, and my wife's wasn't even cooked -it was very liquidy with runny egg whites -yuck! While my toast was actually somewhat toasted, hers was like bread right out of the package. We shared these breakfast concerns when we checked out, but they were ignored, without even an apology.
We really like Anniversary Inn and especially the benefit that time together in a fun thematic room does to improve our marriage relationship, but over the years, our experience is that rooms are not well-maintained (yes, they are cleaned well though), and the quality has diminished. We will likely continue to frequent Anniversary Inn, but we are considering other locations.

Great Experience, but Quality and Maintenance standards are lowering

We have loved coming to Anniversary Inn in Logan in the past but they have new management & got rid of Romantic rewards & skimped on breakfast & were out of so many things like the complimentary sparkling cider & mints they leave in the room, etc.

Loved in past but not so much anymore

Of our 2 night stay, one room (The Presidential) was spot on. It was clean and relaxing. The 2nd room (Arabian Nights) had many maintenance issues. It is a premium room and needs some work. Fountain didn't work. Bathroom heater did not ever warm up. Carpet was dirty.

My boyfriend and I stayed there December 23rd-24th in the Imperial Palace to get some alone time for the weekend. Needless to say, we enjoyed our weekend. The bed and the blanket weren’t the most comfortable, but we still had a good night. I would most definitely stay at the Anniversary Inn again!

Imperial Palace

Room was in disrepair and needs better maintenance.  Faucets were falling off. New caulking needed.  Shower temperature would not adjust.  Water was super hard and dried out skin.  Door knob was loose.   Upstairs room was super noise…. Needs major updating!!!
