The first time we went was for my sons 18th birthday we all went as a family for two days. We had a blast we soaked in the hot springs. We went across the street and swam at the pool. We hiked. We fished. We watched old dvds and ate great food from next door. We had a blast having breakfast and playing games in the lobby. It was so much fun. 
The staff is like staying with family. It’s all around just a fun experience. The rooms are huge abd very comfortable. 

Amazing Family fun

False advertising! Our first room was dar away in a run down building with snow and ice on the wooden steps to the entrance. This room was disgusting and the door didn't lock well enough to seem safe. No towels were provided and the sink was right next to the bed. We asked for an uprade, which was granted for a hefty price. Our king room was clean but the drapes didn't block out the bright light outside our window. The walkways between lodge and room buildings were covered in ice. We were informed that the restaurant was closed for "winter hours", but we, along with the other guests were unaware of this at time of booking. The desk clerk woman told us we could eat at the lodge at Loscha Peak, ID or go to Lolo. She lied about the distance to the peak, saying it's 13 miles-- it's really 20 and snowed the whole drive there. Service there is terrible and the waitress turned the lights out while we were still eating our expensive steak dinners! Lolo is farther, about 23 miles from the hot springs. The two indoor tubs were tiny but seemed clean. There was a barking dog and screaming children in them. The next day, we tried to soak at 11:00 am and the maintenance guy was draining the tubs! The sign says the tubs are open from 8am to 10pm, also a LIE! We sat in the hot one while it drained and he flushed us out with cold water!! He said they'd reopen at 6pm! That's when we'd be out scouting our next meal. When we returned for an evening soak, the desk clerk kicked us out, saying they closed at 9:00! Then she locks up the lodge, where there is the only phone service-- what if someone has an emergency? This is highly unsafe! Also, the only way to get ice or a DVD is from inside the lodge, so be prepared. From the hot tub, you can have a clear view of the maintenance room with its water heaters, cleaning supplies and junk, through a large opening in the wall that they never bothered to finish boarding up- it's partially boarded. Breakfast consisted of sugary cereal or a do-it-yourself waffle. That's it!! Even though this was April with people on spring break, the adjacent restaurant is closed. There's no Wifi but in the lodge and no TV, but shelves full of old DVD's to watch. There is a tiny wooden phone booth in the lodge to call home. The driveway needs major maintenance with potholes the size of bathtubs. We were awoken at 7am by someone shoveling snow and ice outside our window, yet the walkways remained icy during our entire stay. This place is way overpriced and it seems that they do not care about their guests experience! We ended up spending most of our time in Missoula, since the hot tubs were closed. Also, the public hot springs next door are pricey and filthy! The indoor pool hasn't been recoated in decades it seems, with bare concrete. The outdoor pool was not in use due to the temperature being too cold. We will never return here and don't know HOW they stay in business! Two nights and too much money wasted.

False advertisement. Room not as described. Over charged us. Paid suite price but got a tiny room. 
Even the cups were dirty. Does not include access to hot springs. 
Continental breakfast? No not really.

But no customer service. No help. No offer to help our stay.
Went for an anniversary weekend. Never again. Check the other places.

Happened upon this place while searching for a hotel room in Missoula...this was $100 less than anything in Missoula, with alot more charm. Rustic pine buidings and furniture, comfortable beds, ample breakfast, pleasant hot springs tubs, and quiet. Moose are known to frequent the area! It is remote, with limted or no cell phone service, which could be a plus or minus, depending on your preference. The main lodge has several wood stoves and fireplaces, comfortable couches, DVD's you can borrow and games. 

Only negative: The only restarant near the lodge was closed due to plumbing issues; we made do with picnic leftovers and frozen entrees from the gift shop. Rooms are equipped with microwaves, and buildings have grills, so depending on the length of your stay, you may want to bring meal supplies, as Missoula is 30 miles away.

Lovely stay off the beaten path!

We arrived at 8:30 at night to find that the manager had messed up our reservations and had given away our rooms. The person at the front desk was no help at all.  No apologies, no refunds from her. We had to call Expedia from their lobby as there’s no cell phone service in the area and ended up relocating ourselves to a hotel in Missoula because there was no place else to stay around the hot springs. My grandkids ended up getting to bed after 11 pm at night because of this mess. It was a really horrible and frustrating experience. My daughter did peak her head in the “hot springs” room. It contained two dinky hot tubs and the people in there were complaining that it wasn’t even warm.  Don’t bother stopping here. These people don’t care one bit about your experience.

Horrible experience

Stayed at The Lodge at Lolo Hot Springs on May 27th, 2022. Room price just under $300. 
There was a lack of bathroom linens, a random washcloth behind the door and an empty tampon wrapper on the chair. 
3 days after checking out I developed itchy, raised skin all down my left shoulder and arm. Progressively got worse until giant, painful blisters formed. After seeking medical treatment the diagnosis was bedbug bites. I immediately called the Lodge and spoke to A manager who told me there was another complaint and they just recently fumigated. He couldn’t help me any further & said I’d hear from His manager. Crickets still after several additional calls.

We stayed at The Lodge at Lolo Hot Springs May 19.  First time we've stayed although we have driven by several times. Front desk friendly and helpful. The Lodge is separated into 3 different buildings joined by sidewalks and outside walkways.  Our room faced the pine trees and walking paths. There are no interior halls adjoining the buildings except in the front desk building. Our king room was mostly clean and appeared to be recently renovated with polished sealed logs, new carpet and flooring. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were thin and floppy.  Only lighting was a bedside light and a corner ceiling light. The large windows were great but not at night. Bath area was well lit altho another towel bar in the bathroom for used towels would be helpful. 
 There was no facial tissue or in room hair dryer. The tub and sink had a slight white residue...not quite enuf cleaner/muscle to remove soap scum. Since there is no TV reception, DVD players and discs are provided.  Ours was not hooked up plus it was filthy so we made two trips to get a different one and finally got player and TV communicating and was able to watch a movie.  Front desk was accommodating.  Breakfast just ok. There is no cell phone service at Lolo Hot Springs and no in room phones.  The hot pools were great and clean.  We'll probably stay again. Bear Cave Bar&Grill right next door has decent food and good service.

Semi retired hospitality employee

First time at this resort and I was not disappointed. Had a big spacious King room with more than ample space to spread out.  Quiet although  we could hear the neighbors/children occasionally. Two soaking pools with space for about 10-15 people comfortably each. 

The hotter pool was at 106 and the cooler at about 102. Beautiful log wood design through out the facility. The floor around the pools can be a little slippery, so make sure you bring some sandals or other foot gear.   This high up in the mountains so little or no internet and no cable TV. They do have a Flat Screen TV and DVD players in the room. The lobby has a generous  supply of movies you can view for free. Definitely on the honor system.

No restaurant in the lodge, but good bar and grill next door. Food was fine but the service on an early Saturday evening was spotty at best.

Breakfast is offered at the lodge in the mornings between 8-10. Basic hotel fare that is offered at when advertising a centennial breakfast. We did not come for the food, so as long as there was hot coffee, we were good.

Easter Weekend Tranquility

Nice looking place but the hot spring at the lodge is more a large soaking tub and it was not that hot.  Hot Springs are next door. Food is next door.  Might be ok in summer but not with 2' of snow and 15 degrees.  No phone,no TV, No fire place. You can get iffy cell service if you are in the lobby.  

Disappointed 

If you also love hot springs, this place has options. Of course, the lodge itself has two great pools for soaking, both at different temperatures. But the staff was also very helpful in recommending hikes we could take to find other natural hot springs in the area.

We really enjoyed making the lodge our comfortable, "home base" and taking day trips to visit other hot springs in relatively close proximity to the lodge. A beautiful stunning area to boot with so much to explore.

This is the second year we have been back to stay at the Lodge at Lolo Hot Springs. Thank you to Geoff and Teresa, the property managers for making our stay special each time. We can't wait for next year!
